Chapter 6: Chapter 6 : The Cat Fight
"Well, looks like it's just me and you." Without hesitation, I dashed in zigzagging across the grassy plain. The boss whipped around swinging its tail at me, Jumping over it over it I landed summoning a ball of dark matter. I launched it as hard as I could at its face, wanting to see how much of them I would need to finish it off. Colliding with the Cat the orb glowed dimmer after striking it. The orb only did 100 damage to a 2000 health monster but with the monsters regen ability it would take at the least an hour to kill.
Damn, did it have an ability to reduce Magical damage. Still with my speed I shouldn't have trouble. Charging my MANA, I decided to try out my lightning spell, I blasted the boss. The bolt did 250 damage. How? That attack should only do 190 damage. Maybe it's weak against lightning.
"Weird Cat thing." I mumbled under my breath.
Obviously knowing what attack I should do. I ran in circles around it blasting it, having to avoid the occasional tail sweep or paw smash. It took less than thirty minutes to defeat it.
"Lucky that monster didn't have any skills like me, or that would have been harder.'
Suddenly I'm filled with a rush of dinging noise signaling that I had notifications. I pull up my stat screen.

My jaw dropped. Ten whole levels. Look at that boost though. I collapsed and started laughing. Too easy! So, 50 stat points. First to get speed to 110. Next to get strength to 35, and endurance to 35 as well. My new stats looked OP.

Looking to where the Cat died, there was a small pile of loot. I rushed over as there was no better feeling than collecting the drops. Analyzing the items I as surprised at what it dropped. The cat had dropped a long black scarf. What a weird drop for that monster but at the least it was a cool color. The scarf had these stats.

Speed boost by 20. Strength boost by 10 /
Another was a ring.

"Cheap game system..." I cursed but fell off as I read the last sort of notification.

It definitely seemed like the game wanted to increase my speed. Well I guessed not to judge a book by its cover. Shrugging as I stood, my alarm went off scaring me like hell, signaling to get back to the room. I ran as fast as I could, and because of my stat boosts, pretty damn fast. Once in the room, everyone started popping into existence.
