Chapter Two
A day later, I can finally come inside the building, thanks to the long staircase…
I looked around as I got inside the building, that's when I noticed that this whole building was made by demons, ghouls, and spirits. Something that I also know is that this building was created by a young lady named Layla, who was said to become a crazy witchcrafter right after the loss of her beloved sister. They both were always with each other and they would always go everywhere, no one could do anything to them because of their combined powers…
I had never been inside of a building before but it's crazy that I got to see this place with my own eyes. I know that it was dangerous for me to come here but I have a mission to do and I had to risk it all because of what I believed in. I know for sure that all my family is still alive somewhere... where…
Once I looked everywhere, I heard screamings coming from the kitchen to my right. It was quite huge when I went and checked, I started to look around and see if there's anyone around, I then came upon a hallway which surprised me, there were people but they all were wearing monster masks. I was an outsider so I'm not sure why they had those masks on, and after checking where all the people were. Someone then started to bump into me by accident right when I turned around and fell onto the ground scared that I was going to get killed.
He had dark blue hair, was carrying a sword in his right hand, and was looking at me though I couldn't see his face.
He started to ask me who I am. But I started to fake a laugh and got up as I scratched my head looking down.
"Uh I lost my mask..yeah I lost it while walking around and I couldn't find it anywhere. Is there another mask where I can wear it?".
He looked up and down.
"What's your name?".
"Oh haha….my name is Jasmine".
"Jasmine?. Wasn't Jasmine dead a long time ago? Are you using her name just to get through this?!.
He pointed the tip of the sword at me.
"Uh, no...no I'm not..my name is actually Jasmine".
"Are you sure about that?".
"Y-Yes...I'm not lying to you".
He was the guard. The one that protects the victims inside the building. But I didn't know his name until he introduced himself to me.
"Well since you said that you aren't lying. I will believe you for once since I'm new here. My name is Alexander and welcome back Jasmine. Everyone in this building knows your name but they haven't seen your face. I am lucky to see you".
They know her name but haven't seen her before? And she died here? That sure is a mystery that I have to find out.
"Well..if you're looking for a mask you'll have to ask Ms. Suli to guide you. I have duties to do so enjoy your time here".
He walks away.
Ms. Suli? Who's that? Oh, god time for me to ask people. I then walked from one person to another and minutes after minutes, I came upon Ms. Suli, the one Alexander told me to ask. So I started to walk toward her and look at her gorgeous face. She wasn't wearing any mask but some red and white paint on her face.
And while I was giving her that look, being curious as to why she's not wearing anything like mask-like other, she began to clear her throat and bend down, smiling at me.
"Hi, welcome to the Center Hotel, how may I help you?".
"Oh, are you Ms. Suli?".
"Ah..yes I am..do you need anything?".
"I was wondering where you got the mask from".
"Did you forget or is this your first time here?".
I took a deep breath and smiled.
"I forgot...I uh bump my head into a wall and lost my mask somewhere".
"Ah I see well... follow me".
I started to follow her, walking on a long hallway and headed downstairs. And when I turn around and look behind me. Everything was dark. No light but just my lamp and as she took me into a room the room that I was supposed to go in opening its door.
A spider lady then started to appear from the ceiling and look at me.
"Well well well..what do we have here?".
"Suli.. Are you here to feed me?".
The spider lady chuckles as she licks the bottom of her lips and starts walking towards me ready to open her mouth. At this point, I was scared hoping that this wasn't a trap that Ms. Suli lured me until she stopped her from coming at me.
"No Nana, I'm here to bring this girl to you so you can give her a mask. She says that she lost hers after bumping into a wall. Stop thinking about food and help me".
As Ms. Suli looks around for masks.
"Ugh fine, what's her name".
The spider cried out loud.
Suli then turned around to look at me.
