The story is really well-written. The characters are so intriguing as well as the plot, it's hard to stop reading it. A job well-done, I must say.

Warning First 20 chapters are all about the ML raping the FL. Anyone who can Find romance on that account is disgusting. This is the reason why rape os being taken likely. Bec some twisted minDed people Romanticize rape.
At first, I do not like this novel, but I tried hard to put up with the story, and then I enjoy the story but lately the author has tried to put some unlogical things 😓

This story is nice to read... But it can also give you a heart attack (even if u don't have one) and a highblood pressure HAHAHHAAAHAHAHAHA... And it's slow in updating and has short chapters. But the story plot is cool.

I accidentally deleted my last review on this novel. Damn it! Hasnt changed my mind though. The characters are retarded, the novel is trash. Rape and all that blahs blahs. My last review was really long and too long to rewrite. :) still sucks.
Besides from the rape scene that takes place in the beginning , this story is pretty interesting, The FL that is it shows that through out all the troubles she goes through she Is smart and strong enough to overcome it and move on.
Though this story has dragged on for so long but every twist and turn are quite a thrill and joy to read. Every adventure and hardship Tianya and Zeyan has to go through are out of this workd adventures, life threatenung and dangerous
I haven’t read the book yet so my reviews are all threes. I’ve read a lot of reviews and a BUNCH of them are saying this book is horrible because of the trash ML and rape. Those are COMPLETELY understandable reasons but I’m not the type of person to let others comments affect my judgement. No matter what I say people are going to take it as justifying rape. If I were to justify the ML’s actions that’s me being a horrible person. But I’m doing neither of those Rape is ABSOLUTELY DISGUSTING! Like come on ever heard on ✨CONSENT✨?? No? But anyways I’ve read many novels on here and pretty much all of them have rape sadly. If you’re wondering why it’s because of basically the freedom to sexually assault and abuse people in China 😃 great isn’t it? 😒 As many people know these novels mostly come from China so there’s bound to be rape unfortunately. So if you’re very sensitive to those things please read the reviews because I’m sure nobody wants to trigger any bad memories for anyone. Now for the warnings of the ML I don’t care for those yeah I know he raped her but I read another review explaining all of the problems and when the review got the part about the rape and basically kidnapping they were pretty reasonable (nothing can justify his actions but they were just sensible reasons). Yes,the MC should hate him with all her heart but it’s a Webnovel Novel it won’t go that way. I’m pretty thick skinned I feel empathy for others including book characters but I’m not gonna throw a hissy fit over something I’ve read about probably hundreds of times cause I didn’t throw one then and I’m not gonna throw one now. Nothing and I mean ABSOLUTELY nothing can justify these horrible actions but you have the choice to leave or stay and if you stay I’m not saying forgive and forget the ML’s actions I’m simply saying move on you can be mad about it the whole rest of the book if you want (which is what I do sometimes) but if it’s a good book to you don’t let those things stop you from enjoying the book. If it happens again then drop the book. I only give books one chance to bring up rape because I can handle it but if it comes up repeatedly then “BYE BYE HORRIBLE BOOK AND AUTHOR!” And you can do that too,but if one rape scene was enough for you I understand. But don’t go around calling others Horrible and a Stupid because they can move past it. Some do that because it is just a book but others suggest otherwise because Rape is a real problem in today’s society. You don’t have to respect their opinion because it goes against your morals but don’t insult them either because they weren’t justifying his actions either they were simply saying it’s not going to affect their judgment on the book.

Just one question... Does it allow any man to rape his ex girlfriend or a girl whom he loved once? Forget about the reasons. If she betrayed, he could have used other means. But rape... No way. Having love based on a foundation of raping as a punishment for betrayal is worse. He should have killed her instead. And worst part is that it is portrayed that she falls in love with him. Are you kidding? Being from a modern society, ppl should write more progressively rather than focusing on the bad aspects of the society. It's misguiding the values which every individual learns as ethics and morals in their young age. There are many under 18 readers here as well. Is it correct to write such plot? You say this is contemporary romance????
The story has dragged so long now. Still the ups and downs of Ling Tianya from her miserable and pitiful growing to how she rose into a cool, powerful writer, then fighting her eay up until she becomes Madame Ruan of Zeyan, to being a mother now a powerful, beautiful wife, mother of the Ryan family. The thrill, the excitement goes on...
That was a near death experience for the entire family, am so glad that Ruan came back alive and KSI gang weren't able to kidnap his wife, if not that would have been another battle to contend with. And as for those idiotic elements called family,they should be extremely dealt with in the family torture chamber including both the 5th and 7th useless Uncles. What a mother, her grandson is yet to be found,her own son is so dead because of ALL the atrocious things he did and ALL she cared about is some nonsensical possessions, what a SHAMELESS mother to have 🤦🏻♀️🤦🏻♀️🤦🏻♀️
If you read first few and thought of giving up than don't. It's one of best story i have read..fl and ml both character development is super ..you will surely fall in love with story. Ml is totally doting on fl and after whole ml's family loved her so much.all characters are very well designed not single one feels overrated. All in all must read
This story started with moronic view that raping FL is OK because the ML suffers for FL abandoned him. If you be able to tolerate to read this author moronic acceptance to abuse then go ahead read it,as the chapter progress the story develop OK. Although the pattern of the story is nothing new and not original at all but the character lines are actually not bad.

If you can read past the horrible beginning chapters & all the rape & torture from the ML the rest of the story is not that bad. It has your typical evil stepmother & sister, dominating male lead & lots & lots of back stabbing by the FL family. I'm not saying I like or excuse the horrible way the ML treats the FL. There's no excuse for the things he does to her in the beginning. Once you read past all that stuff it turns into you typical chinese romance story. ( one where the FL's family are horrible people!) My biggest complaint with the rest of this novel is that it is REALLY slow. The story makes progress but it takes several chapters to get things moving from one scene to the next. I will never understand why all these novels treat the FL like they are sub-human. There's always back stabbing, rape, drugging, family betrayals & ML who are as**oles. It's not always pleasant or fun to read but I guess it's just a cultural difference. All these things are probably more acceptable in novels in China than they would be elsewhere in the world where women are valued more. I try to judge a book by the quality of writing and if the basic storyline is good. Otherwise, I'd never read any of these type of stories.

This is good. Most of the chapters ended up on cliffhanger and wishing for more. Tons of face slapping and good schemings. Cannot wait for more.

I’m sorry I really tried to read this story, however, I just couldn’t. The ML is too appalling and continues to speak derogatorily to FL. Although I didn't get far into the story, I really just couldn't stand it. Especially when he raped the FL, belittled her in the process, and would not give her the opportunity to explain herself really broke my heart. The ML treats the FL as a possession as if she was merely a piece of decor.

From the start to thus ooint there was not an issue where the keads specually Tianya has nit resilved with flying colors. Though they get hyrt and almost meet death still they get rescued or uses their so intelligent presence if mi d and gets out unscathed if not alive out of their delimna. Such strong powerful keads
After reading this book I liked the back story how the real daughter got kicked out of her family as her dad did not believe. I liked how she changed into a stronger woman. But the only thing that I didnt like is the male lead - first he justifies forcing the female lead as he was hurt.. what a selfish guy..😡😈 - he didnt believe nor trust her - and after he found out she was innocent he said he wanted to marry her. - he even used her sister as leverage so that female lead marries him. - he was angry when he thought she aborted his child - he locked her up in his house the fist time he met her after 6 yrs. the list goes on. anyway I would prefer if the handsome actor become the lead.. but after knowing that the female lead is falling for the spoilt and crazy CEO I lost interest.

If you can read past the horrible beginning chapters & all the rape & torture from the ML the rest of the story is not that bad. It has your typical evil stepmother & sister, dominating male lead & lots & lots of back stabbing by the FL family. I'm not saying I like or excuse the horrible way the ML treats the FL. There's no excuse for the things he does to her in the beginning. Once you read past all that stuff it turns into you typical chinese romance story. ( one where the FL's family are horrible people!) My biggest complaint with the rest of this novel is that it is REALLY slow. The story makes progress but it takes several chapters to get things moving from one scene to the next. I will never understand why all these novels treat the FL like they are sub-human. There's always back stabbing, rape, drugging, family betrayals & ML who are as**oles. It's not always pleasant or fun to read but I guess it's just a cultural difference. All these things are probably more acceptable in novels in China than they would be elsewhere in the world where women are valued more. I try to judge a book by the quality of writing and if the basic storyline is good. Otherwise, I'd never read any of these type of stories.

This is good. Most of the chapters ended up on cliffhanger and wishing for more. Tons of face slapping and good schemings. Cannot wait for more.

I’m sorry I really tried to read this story, however, I just couldn’t. The ML is too appalling and continues to speak derogatorily to FL. Although I didn't get far into the story, I really just couldn't stand it. Especially when he raped the FL, belittled her in the process, and would not give her the opportunity to explain herself really broke my heart. The ML treats the FL as a possession as if she was merely a piece of decor.

From the start to thus ooint there was not an issue where the keads specually Tianya has nit resilved with flying colors. Though they get hyrt and almost meet death still they get rescued or uses their so intelligent presence if mi d and gets out unscathed if not alive out of their delimna. Such strong powerful keads
After reading this book I liked the back story how the real daughter got kicked out of her family as her dad did not believe. I liked how she changed into a stronger woman. But the only thing that I didnt like is the male lead - first he justifies forcing the female lead as he was hurt.. what a selfish guy..😡😈 - he didnt believe nor trust her - and after he found out she was innocent he said he wanted to marry her. - he even used her sister as leverage so that female lead marries him. - he was angry when he thought she aborted his child - he locked her up in his house the fist time he met her after 6 yrs. the list goes on. anyway I would prefer if the handsome actor become the lead.. but after knowing that the female lead is falling for the spoilt and crazy CEO I lost interest.
