Chapter 38: AN UNWANTED TRIP
I overslept and the first thing that came to my mind was " crap that demon will kill me" and I rushed to the bathroom. I went downstairs and noticed my mother was already gone so I grabbed a bread and left hurriedly. I reached half an hour late from the usual timing and was shocked to see the empty office so I went to the guard and asked him " why is the office empty?. He replied, " mam today is for the workers and some of the workers are working from CEO's house". I was so angry I looked so dumb in front of the guard and was left the main gate to hail a cab but was interrupted from the demon's call. I answered and before I could complain I heard him saying " come to my office" and he ended the call as soon as he completed his order.
I shook my head and went directly to his cabin and knocked on the door. I entered and looked at him, he was lazily sitting on the chair sipping his coffee after realizing how angry I was he chuckled and at that moment I was infuriated and glared at him throwing daggers (well only in my imagination). After 2 minutes he was torturing me and said " why are you here? I was shocked how could a man be so shameless. I replied angrily " are you really asking me this question? He looked at me with his innocent eyes like I was spouting nonsense like a mad woman, wait I am not the mad one over here. He said " pick up your important stuff we have to attend a meeting and it's a 2-day tour to take your clothes as well. My mouth was wide open I mean how will I manage my mother she will eat me alive. Looking at my weird expression he asked " is something that matters?
I shook my head as a sign of no and left abruptly his cabin and after sitting on my chair in was thinking of ways to convince my mother then suddenly I received a message from my mother depicting "I am away for a meeting for 2 days so keep yourself good and don't go anywhere suspicious take care and love you, sweetie". I jumped joyfully and screamed "yes" and when I was happy I notice a pair of eyes glaring at me I looked up and saw him he said " any good news miss Alena you wanna share with me? I shooked my head continuously as no and was standing while bowing my head. He added, " go back and pack your things we will leave in the evening". I replied " ok" and he left.
I was having the feeling that something big is going to happen why I don't know but I felt this way. but keeping these thoughts aside i went home and found that my mother had already left so it was a good point for me, i went to my room and started packing important stuff and was done within a couple of hours. after I got ready I sat on the sofa of my living room and started checking out news feed of my phone and saw I had got a friend request from Andrew, without thinking much I accepted it and at the same moment I got a message from him. he sends "hi". I typed the same as well and again after some basic chat he asked what's my birthdate and I was left dumbstruck at his sudden question I didn't know how to respond of course I knew my own birthday but the thing is that I don't the owner's birthday in simple words Calorine's. So I thought I will just say mine he is not someone related to her so what's the difference. I told him August, 1. but he didn't reply after 2 or 3 minutes I got his ok and exited the chat room.
ANDREW'S SIDE
ok, how did she got the birthdate correct? I mean I know she is not her but why is she is saying the correct date. I was puzzled and didn't know what to do further. I couldn't go to her mother because she is having no clue about what happened between her daughter and my friend. the only link was me, Caroline, Damon and.....wait a second where did her friend go I remember clearly there was a girl her best friend where did she went, she must have known everything about her but what was her name, darn it I can't remember it. well leave this and I will see for some new clue when I will reach there.
I reached the office again at the decided time and saw the demon was already present there. I got up to him and he was talking to his assistant and that's when I heard the place where he was taking I was like what the hell is happening, no he is taking me to the same hell which I left before coming here. he looked at my not so happy face but ignored and said let's go. we sat in his car and his driver left us at the airport and after some processes, we board the plane after sitting he asked me " did you bring your necessary stuff ". I replied " yes". he raised one of his eyebrows and said complaining " why is your luggage so big then". I couldn't say anything so I just smiled at him and he turned his face and I closed my eyes for a quick nap.
