Everyone: "Surprise!!!!!"
As I heard the voices yelling that a bright light was turned on I felt by eyes were burning a bit, but that stopped as soon as saw everyone wearing party hats and balloons floating around. "Stanley you turn the lights on to fast you nearly blinded the poor boy" when I heard that voice I saw a man in his mid to his early thirty call out he looked like he stood about 5,11 with short brown hair and ruged face, he was wearing what looked to be a vault tec police suit and protective armor that looks like my past life military BDU's and a kavler vest with his gun attached on his left side of his vest it was officer Gomaz.
"Look you're already ten, I'm so proud of you if only you're mother was still alive..." as his dad was saying something about his mother the Overseers came over and interrupted while holding up a wooden box, "Congratulations young man on becoming ten years old, you're practical an adult now, an as such any new ten year old you shall receive this new pip-boy device," while I was looking at him he was opening the box up and revealing a strange new pip-boy the looks like an ear piece and two fingerless gloves. While looking at them the overseer saw the expression on my face and continued to explain the new pip-boy functions and how it works,"This pip-boy is a new model to the ones that the security officer's wear it has everything that you'll need to do any job you are assign tomorrow Haha," as he was walking away I started to check out the new pip-boy device by placing it on my ear and wearing the gloves a screen and a new HUD opened up as soon as I logged into the pip-boy.
I was thinking how cool this was and wondering what I could do with it when the System answered the question that I had in my head, *Ding Host's System can integrate into you're new pip-boy device by scanning it and upgrading it so my functions will be compatible so you won't look like a weirdo for talking to yourself* I was in the middle of hearing what the System was saying when Amata came up to congratulated me, "Hey happy birthday John I bet we surprised you with this party hehe" Smiling at Amata I said, "Yea you surprised me with my birthday and almost blinding me haha." I was laughing with Amata when she brought out a present that she held behind her back I already knew it was going to be that grodnak comic book she found in her father's old things so I acted surprised so I wouldn't hurt her feelings. When she handed the present to me I was more than surprised by it because it wasn't grodnak the barbarian but the Unstoppables issue number one, I looked at her and asked excitedly,"Amata where you this at I haven't seen ever in the vault store?" Amata was smiling at the reaction on my face when she handed the comic over she said, "I found it in my dad's old things, could you imagine him actually reading comics I guess everyone was ten once." she had a big smile knowing how hard it was to surprised me. I gave a hug and a peck on her cheek and at that moment she had a complete meltdown her face was more red than the time her mom made her ware a dress. I looked at her and noticed old lady palmar was signaling me to come over when out of nowhere cake hit in the face and as looked over to see what happened Andy the robot helper that helps Stanley around tried to cut the cake with his saw made his cake explode everywhere. I looked and Andy was giving me a apologies for wracking the cake I told him it was fine but he seemed down after destroying it, "Dont worry son I baked this sweet roll for you, so you party an't ruined by that mess" As miss palmer explained and handed me the sweet roll she made butch saw that and said, "Hey that stupid robot destroyed the cake, give me that sweet roll miss palmer gave I'm hungry," I looked and I remembered butch in the main game be a little ass to me when ever I played so I told him, "Go stick you're head in the toilet bowl Butch," as I said this he got up and tried to throw a punch at my face I ducked and hit him as hard as I could in the stomach. When that happen he hit the floor hard and crouch inward holding his stomach in pain. Officer Gomez saw butch trying something like he always did, but what surprised him was that I hit him back instead in my new past life where the old person who had the body would accept being bullied by him and his so called gang and give them what ever they wanted I wasn't going to let that happen anymore.
Gomez walked over and asked," Max what happened just now?" and I answered back "Butch tried to make me give up the sweet roll that miss palmer made for my birthday, and told him no so he got up from his seat tried to assault me but I defended my self first." After hearing that he had to have a talk to Butches mom about his bullying and out bursts. Officer Gomez pick Butch of the floor and escorted him out of the dinner to talk with his mother about his bullying. As he watched Gomez escorted butch away Amata walked over and asked if I was hurt, "Max did butch try to bully you again, I hate when he trysts that with you but I'm surprised you stood up to him this time are you feeling ok?" While saying that she puts the back of her hand to my forehead to check my temperature she noticed how close she was she blushed and then coughed and said, "Seems like you're not running a temperature you'll be fine," after she said that, she walked over to her group of friends and started talking to them.
After a while Dad came over to tell me that jonas and him has a surprise waiting for me at the reactor room. So after he said that I started to walk to the door leading out to the hallway when I was stopped by Amata saying that she's sorry about her father's lame speech while she looking at her feet, I told her it was fine and told her thanks for the party as I walked out into the hall I found that the reactor room Jonas was working in was just around the corner from the dinner. I thought that was a big safety hazard but laughed a little, as I made my down the flight of stairs jonas looked and saw me and waved, "Happy birthday young man sorry i couldn't come to you're party i was cought up in this," pointing at the reactor." Dad said you guys had a surprise for me?" then out of nowhere dad shows up and answer's by saying, "I believe you're ready for you own bb gun since you're now a young man," as he said this he showed me a lever action bb gun rifle that look like the exact one in the game.When handed over the bb gun I felt nostalgic holding it, "Hey wait dad we can't shoot this here or we'll have the overseer yelling at us." When he heard me he laughed and said, "You're exactly right son we don't want that happening to us I know of a spot for when we dont want to get caught." We walked over to a door that led to storage room but it looked modified to look as a shooting range, when my dad show my face he tapped my shoulder and pointed to the targets that looked like metal discs. I fired my bb gun at the first target and proceeded to get a bullseye on every target so farthen I was expecting a radroach to come but never saw it.
After a short time shooting dad wanted me to get to have a picture taken just the two of us and as I was about to go over to my dad and Jonas the System asked a question, *Ding Host has a choice to continue going through the years or he can time skip and I'll take the wheel while host sleeps until Host is 18* After thinking about the question I asked if it could turn my body with the training manual I have on hand while I'm asleep.
*Ding yes host I'm able to do that will there be anything else before I take over?*
After thinking I chose to tell the System that I want to be close to Amata and join the Security team before the events of me going outside and after that I'll be fine. Ding requests can be made dose host want to start now Y/N?*
"Yes started as soon as the flash goes off." It was exactly like the System said as soon as the flash went off I fell into a deep sleep.
