Chapter 2: FIRST ENCOUNTER (2)
Just as Alex was about to sit on the edge of the footbridge, she heard a loud voice.
"Stop!"
Alex was startled by the loud scream. She looked at the direction where the voice came from only to be surprised once more.
*splash*
"Aaaaahhh!" Screamed Aly on top of her lungs before the water engulfed her. She tried to swim but the stranger had a good grip on her. She can't take his grip off of her.
'Dear Lord, don't let me drown' Aly prayed so hard. She was making huge effort to stay afloat but she feels like her consciousness is slowly fading.
'No, I can't die yet. I have too many things to understand still. I can't leave this way'. The she hears that voice again.
"Miss?! Miss! Are you okay?" Said the baritone voice.
Alex tried so hard to open her eyes but she feels like someone was pulling her hands and she was slowly drifting away. Soon enough, darkness surrounded her.
