"Morning,wifey." John said. "Morning too." Alexa said while kissing his lips. "Excited for your return?" John asked while smiling. "You bet, i'm really bored here. Sometimes, I wanna sneak out but of course you'll probably know it because you have plenty of eyes and ears around me." Alexa said faking her drama. John smiled in Alexa's childish act. He kissed her in the forehead and said, "Because I love you so much and of course our little ones." Alexa hugged him. "Let's go, im excited to see Bella and Myra. I will get even with them for not visiting me here." Alexa said but in her mind she really missed her friends and her work.
"Welcome back!" Bella and Myra said at the same time. Bella held a bouquet of flowers and Myra held her fave chocolate. Alexa's eyes twinkled but said, "Why didn't you visit me? Were you really that busy for not having time with me?" Alexa faked her anger. But her friends knew her. She will not get angry until she hears an explanation. Bella and Myra hugged her. "Don't get mad at us, we have done so many, many, many things last week so we didn't have the chance to visit you but we called you, right? Here's our peace offering." Myra said looking pitiful. "Yeah, you will immediately forgive us if you see our haggard looks last week." Bella said also looking pitiful. Alexa kept silent as if thinking if she should forgive her friends. "Ok, because you brought my favorite flowers and chocolates, you're forgiven." The three hugged each other.
At lunch time, John let Alexa ate together with her friends. He will talk to Mike about the ring.
"How's your pregnancy?" Bella asked. "At first, it's really difficult. Nausea and vomiting anytime. I will crave for that food and when it's already infront of me I don't like it anymore so my hubby will sacrifice himself in eating them." Alexa said smiling remembering the looks on John's face eating a sour mango. "Yeah, he gained a little weight actually." Myra said. "By the way, why is that you've been busy last week?" Alexa asked that made two of her friends looked at each other. "Ah, we've searched this and that for the hospital. Dra. Venice loaded us many paper works." Bella said hoping that Alexa will believe her alibi. "Oh, I see." Alexa said and then start eating her lunch. Both of her friends sighed in relief and also start digging their lunch.
Doctor's quarters. "Why is the design of the ring like that?" Mike said giving John the blue box. The ring had a silver color. It had a heart inside a circle. A simple engagement ring. "The heart symbolizes my love and the circle for eternity." John said seriously. Mike just nodded. He can't do nothing with the man infront of him. He knew ever since that his cousin will love his friend even after life.
The week ran smoothly. Eventhough both of the couple have their hectic schedules, John and Alexa didn't felt tired.
Finally, the day they've been waiting for. The event prepared for the couple to bid farewell to their singleness. A celebration for their love. A usual day for Alexa but for John, a very special day he prepared with his friends and love ones to announce to the whole world his never ending love for her.
