Chapter 12: New Room
After seeing the literally destroyed room of Ocean, the queen decided to lend a new room for the 'couple' (if they are one XD). But having a new room doesn't seem a great idea for Ocean. Aside from the room is near Pierce's room...
"Maybe it's better if Seal will have her own room for now," the queen said.
"WHAT?! NO, MOM!" Ocean shouted that made all the vampires inside that hall to look at him.
Even Seal looked at Ocean weirdly. 'What's wrong with this guy? Can't I have my own room?'
'No. I want you to be by my side all the time.' Ocean replied in her mind.
Seal blushed at what Ocean said. She's still not used to being told by sweet words. She doesn't have experienced with relationships (?).
"It's not like mom will never let you be with sister Seal. She just want to give space for our sister because ever since she got here, she's always by your side, well except when you were punished," Nyle said.
"Why don't we threw him again to the dungeon so that sister Seal can be alone again?" Quintus suggested.
"Nice idea, brother," Landon agreed.
Seal almost slap her palm on her face because of the Prince's bright ideas. Ocean just rolled his eyes on his dumb brothers and looked at his mother with pleading eyes.
"Just for a few days, Ocean. Let's just wait until your room is already renovated," the queen patiently asked.
Ocean grunted because he knew that he can't change his mother's mind. The queen mind be soft and kind but once she made her decision, it won't change.
"You should go and check your rooms first. We will be having our dinner later. Quintus, lead the way for their rooms," the king ordered.
Quintus lead the way, still suggesting that Ocean should be put in the dungeon again. The rooms of the fifth, sixth and seventh prince as well as the guest rooms are located at the east wing of the castle in the fourth floor. The first, second, third and fourth prince is staying at the third floor of that wing while the king and queen stay at the central castle.
While walking, Ocean and Seal are bickering using their telepathy.
'No one can stop me. I can still sneak into your room. It isn't that far.' Ocean said.
'Can't you sleep alone? Are you scared of something?' Seal asked.
'I'm not scared of anything. The only things that I'm scared of is losing you.' Ocean said.
'Blah, blah. Whatever, water boy.' Seal managed to deflect Ocean's sweet words even if inside, she's almost dying because of butterflies.
"Water what?" Ocean burst out. Seal and Quintus looked at him because of what he said.
"Who are you—are you already using your telepathy?" Quintus asked. The two didn't answer giving Quintus a deduction that maybe they are using telepathy.
"Well, if I'll be given a girl, I'll al so use telepathy when talking to her. Like tell her sec.... Blah blah blah," Quintus started blabbering.
Seal and Ocean didn't mind the stories that the fifth prince are saying and just get back to bickering.
'What did you call me again? Water boy?' Ocean asked.
'You heard it right.' Seal replied.
'Okay then, you can call me all you want just let me call you love.' Ocean said and send a mental image of him winking. Seal didn't know how he did that because that was probably just her imagination.
"And here we are," finally, they listened to Quintus.
They stopped in front of the wooden door with a door name, Equinox. Quintus fetched the key from his pocket and opened the room that Seal assumed to be hers.
The room is as big as the last room of Ocean. Though, its decorations isn't as grand as the last one. But still, the style is quiet luxurious.
'Is this really a guest room? I've never been in a hotel but I know that this is more beautiful than those in the human world.' Seal thought.
'But you're the most beautiful I've ever seen.' Ocean said in extra.
"I will give you the key. Father said to get ready for the dinner so we'll leave you for now. I'll just walk my dear brother to his room," Quintus said.
Quintus left first. Ocean stepped to her and held both of her hands. He leveled himself to her and look at Seal's eyes seductively.
"Hey brother. You'll still see her later. Can't you leave her so she can rest?" Quintus shouted from outside the room.
Ocean closed his eyes as if his string of patience will be cut when Quintus speak again. Seal let out a short laugh that made the fourth prince raised an eyebrow at her.
"Just go, water boy. See you later," Seal said and take her hand back from Ocean's.
Ocean sighed and nodded. He already turned his back at her but before he got out, Seal froze when a soft kiss land on her lips. All that she can remember is the grinning face of Ocean going out of the room.
Unconsciously, she touched her lips with her fingers. She's still not used to his kisses. She locked the door to make sure that Ocean will not come back. And after locking the door, she heard a curse that made her smile.

Seal arrived at the dining area before Ocean. She sat beside the queen who is on the right side of the king. The prince's are noisy when they arrive. Morie are teasing Landon again. Pierce are drooling at the food while Quintus are putting every food he can reach at Pierce's plate. Nyle is creating a loud noise because of his careless actions while Kane is silently looking at his purple tulips.
Ocean entered the room with his crumpled face. He sat beside Seal and throw daggers of death glares to Quintus's side.
"What's with the long face, brother?" Morie asked Ocean.
"I want the room next to Seal," Ocean said.
"What?" The king asked.
"Quintus led me to the room two doors away from Seal. I thought we will be next to each other?" Ocean said.
The other brothers laughed at Ocean's acts. He acted like a child who badly wants a lollipop but given a chocolate instead.
"You'll be giving Seal a space right?" Quintus mocked him.
"Quintus Leandro Avery Song!" Ocean called Quintus's full name only fueling the laughter of his brothers.
"That's just for a while, Ocean. It will not be long until the renovation of your room," Queen Jia said.
"If only you didn't destroy your room," Kane said.
'You're right brother Kane.' Seal silently agreed.
Ocean looked at Seal like her can't believe that she will agree to the first born. Seal just smiled and placed some food in Ocean's plate.
"Before I could forget, tomorrow, Ocean and Seal will be visiting the Kingdom of Paladin," King Io said.
Hearing the word 'Paladin' scares poor Seal. But she wanted to have revenge than to be scared.
'I'm itching to kick some prince.' She mentally said.
'I won't stop you.' Ocean agreed.
"But why? Isn't it too dangerous for her? Seal may be finished the stage of conversion but she might still be questioned because she's an ex-human," Pierce asked.
'Is the conversion isn't enough for me to be alive in this world?' Seal mentally asked.
"Yes but because of what happened, Seal must convince every kingdom in the Land of Daut herself so that they will know that she means no harm and that they won't break their ties with us," King Io said.
'Am I dangerous?'
"Besides, you and Landon will go with them on their trip. Prince Brie and Prince Frost will gladly welcome you at the palace," Queen told Pierce.
'It's not just a simple trip that will be happening tomorrow. I might kick some prince with purple butterflies out of the castle.'
