Chapter 69: How long have you knew?
Sophie jolted at Vincent sudden burst of emotion. She stared him in the eyes, after a moment Vincent released a heavy sighs.
"Why didn't you come to us earlier, Sophie? Don't you trust us?"

Sophie remained silent. Not that she didn't want to tell them earlier but she was afraid that they would thought that she was being childish. Plus, she worried about the prenup agreement between her engagement as well.
"Not that I don't trust you all, I just wanted to make sure."
"You sure took your time to ensure, Sophie. I didn't know Staller's CEO such a indecisive person."
Not that she was irresolute in this issue, truthfully was she totally forgot about it. After she build her team, she tasked them differently - to find her John Doe, to keep track on the lucrative tender to bid, building her empire to ensure that she capable to topple any future obstacles incase her plan backfired. Not like she could tell that to her brother.
"I was stupid. I thought that he could one day see how much I loved him and recopciate my feeling. Never that I expected he would treat me this way."
The frustration in Sophie's eyes casts grim onto Vincent mood. He believed he just asked a stupid question to his adorable sister. He wanted to console his sister but he didn't know how. But Sophie welcomed such awkward brother caused she knew that he truly loved and care for her.
To lighten the air, Sophie changed their subject.
"So, my brother dear. I told you mine…."
Vincent raise his eyebrow, intrigued to what matter that Sophie wanted to know. His commodating action gave her a green light to ask something that she had assumed and yet to be confirmed.
"Brother, how's life after being one of the Underworld Lord?"

Vincent shut his mouth closed reflexly, saving Sophie from drinks spurting from his mouth. Bewildered, Vincent stare his sister to find any indication that she was plainly joking. But he found none.
The cat out from the bag.
Vincent knew he can't keep Sophie in the dark anymore.
