Chapter 12: Improvements
*A week later*
There is a boy who is five sitting here with carmine colored hair while a fox that is a mix of white with blood red tips is sitting in his lap. If one looks close, they can see the veins are his body as he is assaulting them with energy.
On his body there is a lot of gunk that has exited his pores which tend to happen when a person uses a proper manual. This gunk means to signs for a person one which is they are actually making use of their whole potential then the next which is absorption of energy.
Energy become easier to absorb the higher the potential of the body plus it becomes easier to mold with body training techniques. Ryan didn't know all this gunk has built up on him as he was in the middle of refining his veins which have been a on and off process.
If he saw he would be dumbfounded to know that he has made a ton of progress as of the past week, this is the first time it has happened to him. All he knows is that his veins have only been twenty percent refined but he has noticed that it is getting harder to get further along with refining as the amount of energy plus soul power is enormous for him to handle.
As he was finishing up the day session of refinement, he was thinking of starting to push east more as he knows to get to his mother's clan. When he was thinking about that he smelt all the built-up gunk which made him want to vomit as the stench had built up to much.
The only thing that was stopping him from jumping up and running to take a bath was Inkeri who was still refining her bones with soul flame. It possible to see the amount of pain she was in as her face was grimacing in pain but Ryan knew he couldn't stop her.
It hurt him a lot to see the amount of this pain was bringing her, but he couldn't do anything otherwise self-combustion was inevitable. He instinctively put his hand on her head gently but when he did he felt a little flow of energy from his body into hers to help her with the pain.
Ryan was excited since he could help her with energy supply in her body but in the next instance the pain she was experience got split off onto him too. As it was a sudden rush of pain that he wasn't ready for which it almost put him into shock as the rush was too much.
Ryan was on the verge on passing out but he knew if stop suddenly then Inkeri would get hit by this wave a pain again which she might be accustomed to, but since Ryan took some of the load she subconscious relaxed. If he stopped right now then, she wouldn't be ready for the backlash that would accompany it.
Ryan didn't know is that Inkeri was refining the energy that he was giving her and sending some of it back towards him causing parts of it to be purer as her soul flame was much stronger. This purer form of energy was keeping Ryan conscious as if he was having gallons of water of pouring on him in the desert.
It feels refreshing and relaxing but internally he feels like he is on fire and dries out in every department. This continues for another 30 minutes until it started to get worse for Ryan as he started to notice that his body can't keep up the energy production anymore and starts supplying blood for the process.
Which happened for another minute until Inkeri notice something was wrong and start to stop her refinement and look up to see what's going on. When she does, she notices Ryan is ghostly pale and shriveled like a grape that has been in the sun for too long.
This caused her to be worried but when she went to push Ryan up to see if he was okay, but he starts to get up and slowly move to a better position. This left Inkeri worried as she didn't know what was going on as early he was fine plus this never happened before.
"You two idiots! You guys are so worried about each other and can't think for yourself even a bit which might kill you at this rate."stated Hemming from the treetops. Over the last couple days, he kept watch over them while doing his own thing, so he had a good idea what was going on.
"Hemming, what happened to Ryan and why didn't you stop him? Ryan might trust you but I don't since it seems like you have something to hide. Just what are your plans?"questioned Inkeri.
"Why do I have to answer to you, a little fox, that doesn't know much?"
"Hemming, you better answer me or I will have to beat an answer from you?"
"Inkeri, allow me to rouse you up from this undeveloped world you're in where you are the strongest because out here you possess the strength a ordinary rank soldier. That strength might be able to confront me but in the end it will ruin you and Ryan combined which in your mind can't afford to happen."
When Inkeri heard her exact rank she knew that Hemming knew something and wasn't picking a blind fight causing her to baffle at his statement. "So you might be able to beat and kill both of us, but why haven't you already?"
"I don't know what your problem is, but you need calming your shit plus Ryan's about to wake up finally so you can talk to him instead of bothering me."Hemming was getting tired of this little dispute so he left to explore the forest but no one comprehends what he went to go perform.
Ryan started to be able to move enough he felt like it required all of him to even be able to move but he kept on going. "Inkeri, are you there?My vision isn't the best right now, and I require you to assist me if you are there."
"Alright Ryan I am over here but before I support you will divulge to me what happen to you."
"I will help transport you over to the water as it will help my body plus it will get this gunk off of me." Inkeri managed what she could to assist him over to the water where he sat and soaked in it to clean himself off.
Inkeri brought over a drink from the clean water source to restore his hydration as he started to go over what happen during the time she was refining. "I think when my blood mixed with yours it made us more compatible to cultivate with each other, but at the same time if we are to close we suffer the similar pain,"
"Why do you think it's like that and when did we mingle blood?"
"A while back Hemming told me how to aid in your recovery but it with the help of my soul flame and blood but he never went into details."
"You undertook what? Ryan, are you trying to perish?"When Inkeri had heard of things that he had done it caused much internal grief because she knew she caused some problems but she didn't know they would get this extreme.
She didn't know how to process what to do so she ended up just curling up in his lap while processing on how she will plan for the future. As for what's to come from the future with her decision and choices that will unfold with time.

Omega_Seraph Sorry it took a long to upload but my engineering courses decided to get a lot harder plus my all my other courses eat up all my free time.
Will I upload more frequently? I hope to but before I promise chapters I first want to school situated.
