The next day, Mei Chen sent a message to her boss.
'Good morning Sister Tia, can I use your room while your away?'
Tia had just woken up. She was just checking out the photos she took while she's out on the beach yesterday when she received Mei Chen's message.
'Sure. How's work by the way? Sorry for dumping all the work to you.'
She hit the sent button then she stared blankly at the ceiling. She felt guilty for making Mei Chen do all the work.
She knows that she's just new to her job and she needs guidance but her mentor is out having a vacation.
' t's all good sister Tia don't worry about it and just enjoy your vacay.'
She read Mei Chen's reply and she let out a sigh.
Ian heard her as he stirred to her side giving her a warm hug.
"What are you thinking about?"
"Im just feeling guilty for Mei-Mei."
"Don't worry, Kenny will keep her company."
"..."
Tia looked dumbfounded at her fiance who's eyes were still close smiling at her.
She thought he didn't pay attention that time when she told her that Mei Chen has a thing for Kenny.
Little Mei went to the security and ask for the keys to Tia's office.
She brought her laptop in and happily started doing her job.
She securely shut and locked the doors so no one can disturb her.
When it was lunch time, she stepped out of the office
It's just only half a day but she was almost done with work.
She felt relieve and happy that she's being productive and no one dared to come and harassed her.
She took the elevator down to the pantry. Since its lunch time the elevator was packed with people all coming down to eat.
She squeezed her way in. She didn't notice who was standing beside her.
He instantly recognized Mei Chen when she stepped inside the elevator and he pushed everyone to his side to make way for her.
As the people rushed out of the elevator, Mei Chen's male colleagues had flocked around her again.
Kenny was walking closely behind them.
He could sense that Mei Chen was feeling uncomfortable being surrounded by her colleagues.
He walked faster then he placed his arm around Mei Chen's shoulders.
"Honey, why are they harrassing you?"
He asked. Mei Chen and everyone who heard him were all shocked by what he said.
Tia's fans started retreating away from Mei Chen as they could feel the cold deadly aura from Kenny.
