And that she would never ever love him back. And so he had finally moved on.

As days goes by, he realized that he was missing his wife more and more.

Absence makes the heart grow fonder as they say, slowly, he figured out that wouldn't have had a child with Lily if he doesn't like her.

Even if they had Charlie "accidentally" it wouldn't be the case if he wasn't attracted to her in the first place.

He knows himself too well. He would never go and hang out with someone that he doesn't like.

It's just during that time when Ivy was gone, he thought his feelings for her were unchanged.

He didn't realized that his feelings were gradually shifting towards Lily since she's always been around.

But when she left, he felt that a piece of him was also taken away.

That's why he had become even more introverted.

Lily looked at him straight in the eye. She's waiting for him to say the words that she had been dying to hear from him.

Her piercing gaze had made Wesely Kang's heart skipped a beat. Just like how he felt when he saw her for the first time in the island.

Wesley Kang sincerely said. It was the first time ever that he had said those word to Lily.

Lily started to cry. It was like her dreams finally came true. That she would finally hear him say it to her.

She hugged Wesley and he consoled her. He felt so guilty for having her went through feeling all insecure during the times that they are together.

Tony was quietly eating at the corner of the room, he was looking at little Mei who was happily talking with her sister Tia.

It's been quite long since they got to hang out and so Kenny let her enjoy and have a good time.

Kenny went up to Tony and sat beside him.

"Stop ogling at my girlfriend..."

He sneered. He stood up to assert dominance towards Tony. He purposely stood infront of Tony to block Mei Chen from his view.

"You know, instead of intimidating me, you should focus on her more... If you ever leave her again I swear I'm gonna snatch her away from you."

Tony teasingly replied. He wasn't really thinking of getting in his way but he wanted to infuriate Kenny a little.

" My Mei-Mei won't do that! "

Kenny snarled and hurriedly walked away from Tony. Again, while he converse with Tony, he felt an intimidating aura around him.

He couldn't explain why, but his instinct were telling him not to trigger Tony.

Charlie saw them talking and so he approached Kenny.

"You know that guy? How?"

"He's an acquaintance of my Mei-Mei."

"Really?"

"Why?"

"Nothing..."

"..."

Charlie said. He didn't know that the little peepsqueak knows someone as dangerous as that Tony Shin.
