Chapter 30: Dinner Outing...
"Hey pretty lady, what is going in your mind? I never knew your little brain is so dirty" Xian whispers in Anna's ears making her open her eyes in shock and her face turning to red due to embarrassment.
Anna tries to push him away with all her strength but what difference will it make for a well build guy after getting a tiny push from a girl. Xian comes closer after Anna's struggle and this time touches her lips and places a quick peck. He withdraws his lips and stares at Anna who opens her eyes again with her breath going uneven due to the sudden body connect. Xian moves again to kiss her back but both get distracted due to the sudden bell at the main door.
Seeing Xian off guard she pushes him hard to get away from him and rush towards the main door.
"Hey I am back, hope Stacy didn't bother you much" Lara speaks up smiling.
"Not at all Lara, she is a sweetheart. She is sleeping in the bedroom, come inside and have a seat let me get her for you" Anna welcomes Lara inside and gestures her to take the sofa while she returns to her room to pick up Stacy but stays at the door after seeing Xian picking up Stacy in his arms. He grabs Stacy's bag in another arm while turning back to the door.
"Let me help you with the bag, hold Stacy with your other arm" Anna takes away the bag from Xian's hand and he wraps his other arm on Stacy's neck giving it a support. Both walks out of the room towards the hall and greets Lara.
"Let me take Stacy, Thank you so much Xian and Anna for taking care of her"
"It was nothing Mrs Smith" Xian replies back while giving away Stacy in her arms.
"Let me drop you till your house, how will you carry Stacy and the bag" Anna speaks up to which Lara rejects. "It's nothing new dear after you become a mother. Shaun is waiting outside so he will carry the bag" Lara takes away the bag from Anna and bids goodbye again before walking out of the house.
Silence fills up in the house after the departure of Stacy and Lara and both of them stand in the middle of hall staring at each other. Anna realizes the awkward situation and coughs to distract Xian attention who was staring Anna for a longer time. She knew it's dangerous to stay near to him after the small moment they had few minutes back in the room.
"Let's check your temperature and if it's fine then let's grab something outside for the dinner if you are ok?" Anna finally breaks the silence.
"I am fine with it as long as you are next to me" Xian replies with a small smile on his face.
Anna punches him on his arms for the comment and walks towards her room. "Take another room and dress yourself into something decent. Let's grab something outside."
"I am fine with my outfit, will just freshen up again. I am waiting in the hall go and dress yourself up" Xian replies while placing himself on sofa.
Anna walks in her room and starts picking up the outfit. After a quick scanning she settles with a pair of dark blue torn jeans and black causal tee along with white sneakers. She wrapped her hair into a high ponytail while placing her front bangs into a side puff, completing her look with eyeliner and lip gloss. After satisfying with her look she picks up her purse and phone while walking out her room.
Xian was sitting on the sofa and gets up after noticing Anna walking downstairs. "I am fine now, and temperature is all gone. Let me drive tonight" Xian causally replies without looking at Anna as was busy reading an email on his phone and stretches his other hand out for keys.
"No that's ok, I can drive for now. You can take it later while returning" Anna replies while grabbing the keys from the key holder and walking towards Xian.
He lifts up his head and smirks while watching Anna "You look hot baby" words just skips out from his mouth and realizing the same he quickly covers his mouth with his hand.
Anna gives a scary look before throwing the cushion on his face and the complete scene gives minimal time for Xian to react and get hit on his head and the cushion falls on floor after giving a nice face kick on Xian's face. Xian growls while rubbing his face and setting his hairs. "C'mon girl, it was just skipping of tongue you didn't have to react to spontaneously. You have spoiled my hairstyle and my handsome face. Please don't target my pretty face as need it to flatter other girls as you are not giving in" Xian speaks up while giving a sarcastic smile.
"Hahaha, who said you are pretty? Please go and check yourself. One shouldn't be so high about themselves" Anna replies while turning her back towards Xian and walking up to the main door. She tries hard to control her laugh due to his comment earlier and didn't want to show her off guard in front of him and thus avoids the situation and walks out towards the car followed by Xian.
She tries to settle herself in the driver seat and tugs in the seat belt while watching Xian walking out of the main door. He looked handsome after washing his face and setting his hair perfectly. Anna notice later that Xian has changed his t-shirt and is now wearing the same jeans paired with white shirt and have rolled his sleeves roughly till his elbows making his arm look super sexy and his biceps popping out of the white clothing. She places her hand on her heart and tries to control herself "Anna, calm down you can't let him know about your feeling so soon". She takes a deep breath before Xian walks in to the car and garbs the passenger seat next to her.
"Let's go" Xian speaks up after tugging his seat belt.
