He had access to the privileges, and although it was was a happy moment he didn't forget where he was currently in.
Here he was in Death Island, the day was slowly ending, and with the monsters beginning to awaken.
He had estimated there was only a few hours left in the day, so he should arm himself before the day ends.
In his mind though, he thought it would be better to improve hid level, wear equipment, and learn some skills.
Leveling up transforms the body, making it stronger, making one move faster, and sharpen reaction time. Wearing equipment will also increase personal attributes, but the system will not display the power attribute. As for skills, they are the most important aspect for without magic, martial art skills, he would be dead when faced against those with skills.
" Whether it is skills or equipments, in my current situation I shouldn't even think about them. I'll have to first level up, open the 4th privilege, and buy skills and equipment from the system shop " Ye Yang's heart was dark and had already formulated a plan, very calm and orderly.
To put bluntly, he was gonna go leveling up first. There were many ways to level up, the general way, or completing tasks.
But the ability to find beasts was easy, but to take them on was suicidal for his current strength. Therefore, he should find somethibg easy.....Ye Yang's eyes locked onto the beach.
----
At that moment, there were many people in the beach fishing, but they were not players. The language was foreign, and he didn't understand what they were saying.
----
At the edge of the beach, of group of indigenous people had now stopped, and looked at Ye Yang with vigilance.
Ye Yang kept a safe distance from them as much as possible because he didn't want to, or take his chances with his life to check if they were friendly.
Picking up a sharp wooden stick, he took off his shoes and stepped into the water.
' The salt water is..warm ' This was Ye Yang's first time in a beach, and in sea water.
He stepped further and deeper, until the water level reached up to his thighs. Half an hour later, he began fishing seriously.
Fishing was a skill, and he was fortunate enough to have spent a few years into the field. Although it had been some years ever since he began fishing, he still retained some of his skills.
-----
The first point of fishing was to be quiet, and still. If you move, the fish will flee away.
The second point of fishing was to be fast. The moment you move, you have to pierce the fish before it is able to dodge and swim away.
The third point is to be accurate in your strike. If you can't strike the fish, than you won't be able to get the fish.
The final point is to never show mercy. If you can't bear kill the fish, than there isn't much use to go fishing.
----
Standing in the sea, Ye Yang held his breath and remained quiet.
Turkic!
Ye Yang striked, and the simple wooden stick had pierced and inserted a fish!
[Congratulations for killing a fish!
[1 experience point*10
[1 martial point*10
[1 copper coin*10
The fishes gave him tiny amounts of experience points, martial points, and currency, but fortunately the privileges multiply them by ten. So according to how much he was gaining, he needed a hundred fishes to be able to level up. However, since he didn't have too much of the day left, Ye Yang threw the fish on the beach, and continued fishing seriously.
----------
About two hours later, Ye Yang had finally levelled up.
[Experience points reached maximum! level up!]
As the system informed him, Ye Yang felt a warm current flowing through his body, clearing away his previous exhaustion and filling him with a rigorous energy and spirit.
Ye Yang took a deep breath full of air, and felt a little more strength than before. Although the increase wasn't much, it was still an improvement from before.
Moreover, his mental power seemed to have improved a lot. It was now a bit easier to catch fish, and his speed of catching fish had quickened.
"Hey, hey!" "Ullah, oh, hehe, inosen"
An indigenous person asked, pointing at the dead fish on the ground, and the other indigenous people looked at him and looked at Ye Yang,
Ye Yang turned around and understood what he what the person meant.
Which seemed to be, do you want the fish?
" Take it away " Ye Yang waved his hand, the people didn't understand what Ye Yang had said, but understood the meaning and took the fish away.
After they left, Ye Yang continued on with his fishing.
-------
Time had went by, and as the sun slowly descended. Ye Yang continued fishing to fill his two-thousand point requiment for level 3, meaning two-hindred fishes.
------
The sun had finally went down, and he had promoted to a level 3. However, the experience points needed was now four-thousand, meaning four-hundred fishes and he'll have to wait until tomorrow to morning to fish again.
"Hey!" At that moment, the indigenous people came again while looking at Ye Yang's fish and talking to Ye Yang with a language he didn't understand.
The people's faces were urgent, and had eyes filled with fear. Ye Yang was unable to understand what they wanted. Than one of indigenous people came and grabbed his hand. He seemed to want Ye Yang to quickly leave.
Looking at their expressions, Ye Yang couldn't help but frown. He knew that he was in Devil Island, and if he continued to fish he would be risking his life. He could follow the indigenous people, but he couldn't guarantee if their intentions were pure or not.
But in the end, Ye Yang gritted his teeth and decided to follow the group of indigenous people, because if they really wanted to harm him..than couldn't they have done it before?
Devil Island, also known as Alcatraz Island wasn't that dangerous at the day, but at night....it was a different story.
So the indigenous people had to have a place that was safe to live, and rest.
Following the group for quite a while, Ye Yang eventually made it to where the indigenous people lived. It was a simple, and yet spacious cave.
After entering in, several of the indigenous people wiped...feces on the edge of the cave and quickly walked back on track.
It wasn't until he entered the deepest parts, did Ye Yang see the hundreds of indigenous people sitting around a bonfire, where the temperature was warm.
Some women were grilling fish, but otherwise the atmosphere was very quiet. Then the indigenous people who lead Ye Yang patted him while pointing at a hole leading into a cave fit for only one person.
They said something to him in their weird language, but he knew it meant ' rest over there '.
Ye Yang nodded. "Thank you"
Than entered the small cave/hole, not long after, a man gave him some fish.
But at the same time, a horrifying roar echoed into the cave from outside.
