Chapter 18: Growing Distance Between Us...
Alexa wakes up early in the morning still feeling sore between her legs due to last night. She takes a quick bath and packs all her luggage. She was not in a mood to stay with Reo any more and decides to go back to the Hotel as her band mates were starting today. They will be in New York tomorrow. She thought of many excuses during this time to make them convince for her stay in Reo's house but last night has changed everything. She no longer wanted to share the same roof with him.
She walks out of the guest room after grabbing all the belongings and informs Maya about her departure. Zoe was still not back from Ellen's place and thus she informs and bids goodbye to Maya before leaving the villa. She requests Reo's driver to drop her at the Hotel and he starts the car after placing her luggage in the car.
Alexa's eyes were swollen as she has cried the complete night, she quickly walks towards her room in the Hotel after getting down from the car as didn't wanted anyone to see her swollen face. After reaching her room she throws all her luggage and starts getting ready for the studio as have to still go for the practice. She tries her best to cover all the bite marks on her neck and visible places on her body with makeup which Reo has given last night. After getting ready and having her breakfast she quickly drives up to the studio.
Sasha was shocked to see Alexa's swollen face and rush towards her.
"Hey Alexa, what's wrong with your face. It's like someone has hit you with a brick"
"Haha...I am all fine, just got a bad cold last night and took steam which turned my face like this. It will be ok by the end of the day. Let's start the practice" Alexa tries to divert the topic.
Everyone gets back to the stage and starts the practice without Reo.
On the other hand, Reo wakes up with a very bad headache. It takes him few minutes to realize what he has done last night. He holds his head in shock and tears starts flowing from his eyes. He knew have open the same wound for Alexa and made her walk far away from him.
"How can I be so idiot. She just had one nightmare and have given the same to her again. What was wrong with me. I must make up to her" He speaks in his mind while dragging himself to the bathroom. After taking a quick bath he gets ready in the office attire and walks down to the hall. He scans the complete hall and kitchen with no presence of Alexa. He was about to open the guest room when Maya calls him out.
"Sir, Alexa has left for her hotel in the morning. She asked me to inform you. Her team is arriving tomorrow and she will be staying with them in the Hotel. Shall I arrange the breakfast for you" Maya passes the information as requested by Alexa before asking for breakfast.
Reo stands in shock after realizing the increase in gap between them which he has created. He could have convinced her easily by apologizing numerous time if Alexa was here but as she has left the house, it will be more difficult for him to draw her attention as she will try her best to avoid him. Reo ignores Maya's request for breakfast and walks out of the house for the office.
"Take me to the studio" Reo orders his driver while getting in to the backseat.
