Chapter 7: 07 The rogues
The pack's warriors ran into the night following the alpha and the gamma.
Once arriving at the location where the rogues had been spotted Davy growled with menace toward the rogues.
Looking at the warriors that had intercepted them he spoke with growls mixed voice, is anger leaking dangerously.
'Who are they?' He asked the warrior that had been interrogating them.
'they are from the Northwind pack, That' is all we know Alpha, they seem like scouts.' the warrior furrowed his brows as he spoke with light aggression of the prisoners, they looked rather beat up. Blood leaking from bite wounds as they laid motionlessly down afraid to even breathe afraid that the wolves would charge them again. They were nomadic wolves harden by life with no territory yet, they could not hold a candle to those Moonless pack warriors!
Shivering as they looked at the massive black wolf staring down at them the tree trespassers felt like they truly should not have entered the territory! it wasn't worth it! That alpha was well known for his ruthless ways!
With a week and meek voice one of them started to beg to be let go off he wouldn't cause troubles! he would leave and not return. He only wanted food that's why they had entered the territory. The north wind pack had no land so to speak. they roamed around like vagabond feeding on weaker creatures sometimes even thieving from other packs.
Davy growled as he towered over the submitted wolves he was no spring pup and knew that if they had not caught them the females and pups could have been put in danger. Those rogues stole food and would kill wolves that would stand in their way!
'You take them to the holding pens. We will question them there I want to know where their pack is hiding.' He barked the order to the warriors and enforcers.
Via mind link, he added [kill them wither they speak or not they cannot be allowed to tread back.] Cutting his link he then turned around heading toward his own house. it seems he would have more to deal with.
Glancing at Damien he then ordered. 'go switch with Jellad after all, he's the one that needs to conduct the interrogations you will watch over her.' after speaking he strode off hands in his pockets clearly looking displeased. He had wanted to go 'tease the fox would it still had been awake.
Meanwhile, the said fox let out a light sneeze rubbing her nose curling back up on the comforter sofa she fell back asleep. Her tummy was full and she no longer was feeling threatened by the presence of the Beta, which had been sitting quietly playing some video game giving her side glances here and then before just shaking his head with a slight smirk. The little thing was lying sprawled over the comforter. Jellad could swear there was even drool hanging on her mouth as she slept.
Entering quietly the house Damien looked over the girl laying on the comforter then back to his beta which was simply enjoying playing some video games. 'Some northwind wolves scout have breached the territory they were captured quickly Davy said that you're needed at the holding pen to "fetch" information from them.' he spoke nonchalantly, after all, it was business as usual for them.
with a simple nod, he got up and headed toward the dungeon where they kept prisoners until those became corpses...
Damien gaze returned to the girl which was sleeping without a care in the world letting out a muffled chuckle as he picked her up while she slept like a dead pig bubbling about food yet never waking up as he softly placed her down on the bed.
Looking down at the girl as he had placed her onto the bed only a soft ray of white moonlight lighting up her contour he sighed. this girl was pretty enough to cause the fall of an empire. Those clear eyes of her's that held no evil thoughts.
They could all smell her clean scent, They would have at a normal time released her after all, she did have a pretty solid reason for her accidental trespass and she clearly wasn't a thief nor a danger to any of them but none of them were willing to see that small vixen go.
She had a certain magnetic pull to her. As well as, being so frail, delicate-looking that even flowers seemed more sturdy than her!
Removing her shoes so she could sleep a little comfier he tucked her in. Gently placing the cover over her small frame. walking out the door of her room he closed it behind him. would she try to escape by the window an alarm would ring?
This also could be considered a 'gentle' test after all, aside from that strange pull that they had they still were wary after all, it wouldn't be the first time an 'innocent' being faked and try to escape. Except they only were given this single chance.... so far none has been smart enough to not try to run. on the very small 0.00009 people given this chance, none had passed the 'stay-put' command after waiting a few days hopping for them to 'lower' their guards.
But our heroine was sleeping like a pig snoring away her mind for now far from those dark thoughts even thinking that the 'alpha' was pretty cute when his wolf wagged his tail a silly smile formed on her lips as she dreamed of cute wolves in lalala land eating chocolate and candies...
