Chapter 23: Two Weeks (2)
After reaching home, Izuku got in touch with Momo through the phone.
"Hello Momo, did you and the other get home alright?" - Izuku
"Yeah, we did. What did you need to go see Recovery Girl for?" - Momo sounded worried.
"Don't worry, it wasn't for an injury, I just needed to talk to her about another matter. Anyway, the reason I called is that I want to know how your preparations are going for the festival coming up." - Izuku
"They're going well, your advice will also help with my training. what about you? you sounded really confident in the class by saying how you're already the winner, everyone was really annoyed by you, even Uraraka and Ilda couldn't believe you would say that." - Momo
"Everything will become clear at the festival, and my preparations are going well, I've changed my suit design, do you want to see?" - Izuku
"Of course!" - Momo
Izuku emailed her the suit design and waited a while for her to look through it.
"[Now she'll see the new Nanobot design, but that will be too obvious and my intention for this chat will be seen through. I need to steer the conversation away from that before it begins... and let her bring it back up.]" - Izuku
"Wh-" - Momo
"Oh Yeah!, I just remembered, I was thinking of how to better your training with the Nanobots since knowing you, I doubt you will stop producing them." - Izuku
Izuku didn't realise but Momo blushed and coughed, choking on the chocolate she was eating because even during this conversation, she was creating more Nanobots.
"Are you okay?" - Izuku
"I'm fine, just a dry throat." - Momo
"Uh Huh, sure... Let me just tell you what I thought off. So it simple really, the training is the same as before just the difference of what you create, you should make an inanimate object like a Butterfly from the Nanobots then make it fly and other such things, sort of making an android or robot, at least that's what I hope to happen. If you can do that you will have more variety at your disposal for different situations. [Can't go to much into detail, she can use a majority of her time for that, that way she won't get too strong too quick. Hopefully, this sacrifice of information will be worth it.]" - Izuku
"Erm, is that possible? it seems to be really confusing and doesn't really seem possible." - Momo
"It may be hard, but all you need to do is get used to the Nanobots and their structure." - Izuku
"Structure of the Nanobots... wait, what about that new Nanobot in your suit design?" - Momo
"New Nanobot design? oh, that, I created that to make the suit more fabric like and not just stiff armour, it's not really important." - Izuku
"But if I use that to help me understand how to change the Nanobot structure, wouldn't that help?" - Momo
"Hmm, it actually might, why didn't I think of this before. Okay, Momo, I'll stay up and start designing different structures for you to make with the Nanobots, that should help you in this path." - Izuku
"You don't have to do that." - Momo
"Of course I do, since I showed you this path, I need to help you through it." - Izuku
"No, I mean, I need to get used to and understand this structure you've already made, you don't need to stay awake since it will take me some time, you can design new ones after I've done that." - Momo
"... Are you sure?" - Izuku
"Yeah, I can also use this time to make enough for your suit as well." - Momo
Izuku smiled but went back to normal before speaking, people can hear a smile in a voice.
"You shouldn't worry about that and just focus on your training, I'll just use the Nanobots you've finished using for the suit." - Izuku
"... Okay." - Momo
"Well, I'll let you get back to your training then. I'm going to start planning mine for the next two weeks." - Izuku
"Hm, by the way, your new suit looks cool... Bye" - Momo
"Haha, Thanks I'll see you tomorrow, Bye." - Izuku
Izuku let out a big sigh after turning off the phone.
"[So much work just to keep the factory happy... I'll rest for today and start training for the festival tomorrow, it has been a busy day.]" - Izuku

Izuku woke up the next morning, did his normal morning routine and started to plan.
"[First thing I need to do is get all the information I can on the strong student from these other classes. I'm confident, not stupid. let's start with those two that stood out from the confrontation yesterday.]" - Izuku
It wasn't hard to find out this information, most of it could be found on the student forums for the school.
"[Let's see, this seems to be the guy.
Name: Hitoshi Shinso
Quirk: Brainwashing
Introduction: Quirk allows him to put someone in a state where the victim is forced to obey whatever he commands. He can only activate this power when his target verbally responds to him. Brainwashing needs to be intentionally activated and will not take effect if Hitoshi doesn't want it to.
A brainwashing quirk? no wonder he seemed so angry at hero studies, he has an amazing quirk but because he couldn't use it on the robots in the examination, he failed. Wait, would that be the only reason he'd show up... no, his quirk only works when the target verbally responds, so he wasn't here to throw out a war declaration, he was here to start his foundation of instigating us, so when he does insult us during the festival, we respond. Impressive, this guy is cleverer than the rest but too bad his action has drawn me to his quirk, let's add it to the list. No one else seems to stand out in general studies, lets move on to class 1B...
There he is.
Name: Tetsutetsu Tetsutetsu... What the hell kind of name is this?
Quirk: Steel
Introduction: Quirk allows him to turn his skin into steel. This power grants Tetsutetsu both augmented defensive abilities to withstand attacks, as well as the augmented strength of his unarmed physical attacks.
Judging from his actions in the morning, he's just a Musclehead, not as scheming as the other guy. I'll go through the quirks of the rest of the class 1B, they will be my main competitors along with class 1A.]" - Izuku
After going through the information for those of 1B, Izuku starts to digest everything.
"[They seem to have a lot of powerful quirks, I've added a lot more to my list as well. I should get to school now]." - Izuku
Besides the stares, he got from everyone, the day in school passed uneventfully and Izuku was back to planning at home again.
"[I've researched all my opponents, now I should focus on how to improve myself. With everything else in the works and only needing time to complete, I'll start with my fighting style. It's too lethal, I need a softer approach for when I'm in school. possibly by using air currents, I remember at one point, All Might wore armour over his torso that was designed to aid him in releasing shots of pressurized air. It was designed to work with 20-30% of his power. Due to All Might's close-range fighting style, the bulky armour ended up being more baggage that it was worth, and it kept breaking, so All Might decided to stop using it. I should use that style, for my fights at the festival, I don't have the armour but I can use my physical body to do it and any damage can be healed with regeneration. *sigh* I guess I really can't do anything until I get those Nanobots, I hope Momo is working hard.]"
