Chapter 56: Chapter 56
Both of them remained in that position until their breathing evened out. MinYue felt the movement of her chest slow down under him, so he raised his head to look at her. Her cheeks were flush, and her eyes were closed, "Cera, you awake?"
"Mmmh."
"Are you okay?"
"Mmmh." After her second time just answering him with a hum he grew worried that she was in pain. He raised his left arm to cup the side of her face, "Cera..."
"I am just a little tired."
"Alright, let's go to bed then." he kissed her tenderly on the lips before pulling the blankets up and over them, "Good night Cera, I love you." He pulled her into a hug, and closed his eyes.
"I love you to, MinYue." she let it out in a whisper before curling up in a ball in his embrace and falling asleep. MinYue looked down at her, and couldn't help but run his fingers through her hair. He always thought that she was the most beautiful and unique person who had ever entered his life. He smiled before closing his eyes, and drifting off into his dreams.
Then next morning Cera woke up first, she felt a slight pain in her lower region. She opened her eyes to see MinYue's sleeping face. He had a large smile, and his eyes were closed. She found herself smiling back at the man who managed to capture her heart, and everything else. "I love you." she couldn't help but say those three words once more. They somehow have become her favorite words to say to her favorite person.
As if MinYue heard her, he pulled her closer to him in his sleep. She couldn't help but let out a single laugh as she felt his arms wrap tighter around her waist. Even in his sleep he had managed to make her heart skip a beat. She raised her hands to land on either side of his face, and she moved her thumbs side to side on his cheeks. He mumbled something inaudible before opening his eyes. They widened slightly before realizing that his night wasn't a dream, but a reality.
He flashed his pearly whites at her before moving his face closer to hers, he slowly rubbed his nose against hers, "Good morning love. How did you sleep last night? I slept amazing with you by my side."
Cera lowered her head in embarrassment, but MinYue quickly caught her chin and raised it so that she would look into his deep charcoal eyes. She fluttered her lashes slightly before say something that made the both of them laugh for a few minutes, "Cheesy MinYue."
He shrugged his shoulders as to say he couldn't help it, and then they both started laughing again until Cera was clutching her stomach from pain.
MinYue suddenly felt the urge to go to the bathroom, "I gotta pee." his voice was a tad rough from laughing. He sat up, and climbed out of bed, and walked around it towards the second door on the left side of the room.
Cera's eyes widened as she saw his backside come into view when he moved to sit up on the side of the bed before standing. She saw the claw marks that started at the top of his shoulders and made their way down to the top of his butt. Some were so deep that they looked as if they had bled last night. She watched his back disappear behind the bathroom door with her jaw dropped. 'I did that to him!'
After he finished his business with the toilet he headed to the vanity to wash his hands when his back started to itch. He turned around to look in the mirror to see if there was anything on his back that would cause the discomfort when he saw ten claw marks. He snorted slightly before turning back to the mirror with a smile. 'Definitely not a dream.'
