Chapter 2: Who Is He
I saw this man around my age, so he was around 25. I've never seen him here before he had short black hair unlike my ghostly white hair. He was whearing a dark blue suit with his hair slacked back. I ignored this new member of the club and when up on stage anyway as I started to sing The Water Fountain by Alec Benjamin.
🎶"She told me that she loved me by the water fountain. She told me that she loved me and she didn't love him."🎶 People start to him and sway to the music I continue singing, word after word, verse after verse.
After I finish the song, like any other day I walk off stage and head to the dressing room. I sit at my vanity and pull my hair down out of my tight bun, out of the corner of my eye I see him. He's standing behind my and looking at me through the mirror.
I quickly turned around to face him then asks "Excuse me but only employees and actors are allowed back here". He just looks at me with his hands in his pockets.
He pulls something small out of his pocket and extends his hand to me signaling me to take it. I reach out my hand and he drops and necklace into it. he says in a deep smooth voice "I bet this would look extravagant on you".
I hand come back the necklace saying "I'm sorry but I do not accept gifts from strangers" I get up and walk away from my vanity. He sits the necklace on the vanity and follows me. I walk to the ball room so say and walk around like any other person there. He follows me for a few minutes then disappears.
