Chapter 14: The trauma.
"Grandpa Feng, I have taken Raina to Saints hospital. She.... She, the doctor said that Raina might have experienced something horrible, and it was left untreated for years, and now she had severe metal strain and is suffering from trauma and.... And..... I-I D-don't know what t-to D-do. "Kai was stammering, he had no idea about Raina's past, so he had no idea what she had been through. She looked like she was in so much pain. She was still unconscious on the hospital bed. Her brows were furrowed and her tears kept running down the side of her cheeks, Kai looked toward the doctor.
"So how can we help her to overcome this?" he asked seriously.
"Firstly, you should know what her trauma is, then secondly, you have to talk to her in a way that makes her opne up to you, then lastly, you have to make her look at her trauma in a way that doesn't make it seem traumatic, but something she had to overcome to be the person she is today or something that only made her stronger or plainly just a test of life. She has to feel that what happend.... Was not as bad as she may seem or depending on the trauma wasn't her fault. But this all depends on her trauma..... And I also recommend you let her see a psychologist, psychiatrist or a therapist. " the doctor said quickly.
Kai took note of everything the doctor said and nodded in agreement. Next the doctor gave Kai different medications and the times of when she should take it. He also said that after Raina woke up they would observe her for 3 days and then she could leave, he recommended various psychologists, but Kai was going to have one flown from Europe.
" When will she wake up?" Kai asked the doctor.
"In a day or two", the doctor said.
Kai didn't dare touch, he was scared she would break under his touch so he simply watched her.
A half hour after he phoned Grandpa Feng arrived at the hospital. He held her hand and cried, Kai didn't want to watch this, it hurt him a lot, so he walked out of the room. After a few minutes grandpa Feng came out of the room and asked, "When will she wake up?"
"Sometime tomorrow or the next day", he replied honestly.
Grandpa Feng was alway full of energy and vigour, but for the first time he looked worn and tired. "It's my fault", he said, "She always had nightmares, always screaming in her sleep, she said it was nothing, it was just a dream that wouldn't go away, she told me she went to the doctor and he gave her meds and since that day I thought she was fine".
"What was her nightmare?" Kai asked.
"When Raina was about 10 or so, her parents went out, but on their way home, they were attacked by a vicious gang. They slit her father's neck and raped her mother before killing her too", Kai choked, his eyes widened, as Grandpa Feng continued, "Yeh worst part of it was that they put her parents in the back yard, tying her father by his feet and laying her mother against the tree, the next day, when she went inti the backyard she saw them, her father blood dropping down her face and her mother defiled body. She sat there crying for an hour before the maid noticed her and took her inside and phoned the me and then the police. She didn't speak for 5 years and even joined the military at her young age, and when she finally did speak, it was after she came home, she was 15 and she murdered the entire Mo families, she didn't spare a single person. She had went missing that night, but when we found her she was drenched in the blood and her first words were "and so the enemy crumbles, this world will be mine without it even knowing". I wasn't t sure what she meant, and is till don't know", he finished.
