Chapter 23: Despair
Leaving the startled Valera, Dexter moved out of the building while removing his gravity seal then started to move in the direction of girls. Dexter was moving with a speed of 300 m/s and while using his foot and 200m every sec while using teleportation magic. He was at the location within 30 sec.
When he reached the place, it was sealed with a magic barrier, so no one could enter the place and no one would know what is transpiring inside. Dexter used space magic and concentrated it on his fist, taking his fist back he punched the barrier with his full strength and a person size hole was created in the barrier.
Dexter teleported inside and was shocked to see the barrier covering the girl riddled with cracks and with just one more slash it will break and could even kill the one present inside and he could see the fallen angel using all his strength for the next slash with a glee in his eyes.
Before the barrier could break Dexter moved inside and covered them with his arm while his back was facing the fallen angel. Then a breaking sound was heard and the slash connected with Dexter's back and they were blown forward.

For Shuri, it was a normal day, she got up early in the morning, then did the pre-preparation for the girls bentos. It was the second day since Dexter had left her in charge and she wanted to take care of the girls well, in his absence. She woke the girls up at 8.30 then helped them to bath after taking care of girls she came to the kitchen and start preparing breakfast and bentos for the girls.
After twenty minutes girls came out while wearing their uniform, then Shuri helped them to tie their hairs which were growing well.
After taking care of everything she served them breakfast and they all ate it like a family, while Tsubaki and Akeno were complaining that they missed their Onii chan.
After taking care of the girls she went to leave them at school and came back, she started to watch tv and had her lunch, then again waited for the time to pass so that she could get the girls back from school. It was a boring day for her, usually at this time Dexter would be training and she would be attending to him while watching him train. Remembering those times she smiles and finally, it was 3.45 P.M. so she went out of house locking it securely.
She reached the school just before the final bell and after a few mins. she saw both Tsubaki and Akeno coming out with their small friends. Seeing the happy life she was leading an involuntary smile crept on her face and she waved at the girls who were coming to her with a smile.
"Well, well, well! You B itches are having quite a fulfilled life, aren't you?" a man said from her back and she froze.
"Follow me with those little b itches and I won't massacre this whole school." The man said and moved back after seeing Shuri nod.
After taking both the girls Shuri followed the man.
"Mom, where are we going?" Akeno asked in puzzlement.
"We will know in a while, honey!" Shuri said calmly but her heart was beating fast and she felt nervous.
Finally, after fifteen minutes of the walk, they reached the abandoned building.
"HAHAHAHA, Finally I could have my reward." The man said while turning into a fallen angel.
Seeing this Tsubaki was afraid and Akeno was startled while Shuri had a heavy heart.
"You, guys need to die, for my reward. Some fvcker just killed my money-making guys and I am in need of money. I came to this town to investigate their deaths but wasn't able to find the killer, so I was depressed....so very depressed, But look what the luck brought me. I....was not able to hide my surprise, when I found that, there was a b itch of a fallen angel that has a bounty on her head." The fallen angel said with a mad dark smile.
"Hey, you scary guy, do you know my father." Akeno asked with hope.
"Ehhh?! You don't know your father, Just as I thought you are a b itch child." The fallen angel said.
"I know my father, his name is Baraqiel." Akeno said with pride," And he will save us so forget about killing us."
"HAHAHAHA, if he could save you, then he would have already come and saved you, you b itch girl." The fallen angel said and continued," Even if I kill you he couldn't harm me, we are from different factions and it's not like he only has your mom as a beach."
"Please, Only I have a bounty, don't I, so kill me, but please spare the girls. I beg you." Shuri said in a crying voice, she was clearer than anyone that he, Baraqiel would never come to save them.
After thinking a little while the fallen angel said," All right, I will just kill you and spare those girls. Now come forward, so that I could kill you."
"MOM, don't go father will save us, I know that he will surely come to save us." Akeno said while clinging to her mom.
"Yes, aunty Shuri, don't go Onii chan will surely save us, he is very powerful." Tsubaki said who was quiet all this while, she had an extream faith in her Onii chan.
"Don't worry girls, when I am gone, I know that Dexter will take good care of you." Saying so Shuri kissed both the girls one last time, while the girls were trying to hold her but they were small and didn't have a lot of strength while saying, "Mom/aunty don't go please." seeing that they were so clingy. Shuri slapped the girls who finally let her go after the slap, after looking one last time at them she turned and started to move towards the fallen angel. In the meanwhile, girls watched her go with tears in her eyes.
"Looks like your drama ended, I am going to kill you slowly, so the girls could see and feel despair." The fallen angel said with a sadistic smile.
Shuri's body was cold and her soul was desperate, as the fallen angel created his sword of light and raised his hand to strike, she closed her eyes and tears fell from her eyes," Dexter, please take care of the girls. I won't be able to live and take care of you from now on and thank you for your care. Those were the happiest month of my life." she muttered and waited for the sword to go through her.
"Have you had your final monolog, don't worry I won't kill you in a single slash, I will first cut your fingers, then arm, then fingers of your feet, then your legs and finally when you would only be head and body, then I will extract your heart." The fallen angel said in a sadistic voice," But don't worry, I won't kill those girls, as I always keep my words."
Hearing this, Shuri was in despair about the girls and their mentality when they would see her getting killed in such a cruel way. hearing the fallen angel the girls cried harder.
"Now show me your hands!" The fallen Angel commanded and Shuri felt the inevitable had come. She slowly lifted her hand and moved it in front of the fallen angel.
Fallen angel finally released his sword but before the sword could touch her she was enveloped in a protective barrier and the three items that were gifted by Dexter started to glow and resonate with each other. finally, they covered them in three layers. Seeing this Shuri's mind went into overdrive and she hurriedly ran to girls and the protection barrier coved three of them and became sturdy.
She had known about the barrier and the closer someone is to barrier the stronger it is.
Seeing this, the fallen angel was mad and started to curse, but Shuri didn't pay him any heed. She hurriedly took the phone that Dexter had given her and started to make the call and the fallen angel was striking the barrier while saying," when I get my hands on you, I will show what real despair is?" seeing that Shuri was back the little girls came and hugged Shuri while crying, Shuri tried to pacify them while trying to call Dexter. Finally, after 10 minutes he picked the phone but she was only able to ask for help when the shock wave damaged the phone. She again fell into despair as she wasn't able to tell their location and the barrier had started to crack. She hugged the girls and waited for the inevitable to come, but when the barrier broke she felt warm arms wrap around them and they were blasted off.
