Chapter 4: Yun Xie Yan
She sighs after walking out from that place. she felt a little gloomy inside but her face didn't convey she was feeling. She was used to it. She toughens her heart out years ago. She practice to not let anyone read her like an open book. She walked until she reaches her condominium building. She was greeted by the receptionist while she nodded back. She walked to the elevator and pressed the 20th floor. She waited for a moment to reach her designated level. Her home was almost on the highest floor which has the best view for her.
Her condominium was simple and small. It has a small kitchen but has all the utensils she needs. In front of the kitchen where the living room is. In there was a soft sofa and across it is a flat screen TV. In the glass window, there was a chair and a small table where a laptop is. There was a door near the glass window that leads to the master's bedroom, beside the room was a guest room. The door near to the entrance was the bathroom. Her home was a little bit plain but it was to her liking and relaxing for her.
After entering her home she was greeted by a beautiful view of the city lights like the stars that sparkled at night giving by the city. She stared at it for a moment until something touches her ankle a few times.
She looks down and smiled a bit to greet her pet cat. She put the shopping bag to the counter to her right which was the kitchen. She took her shoes off and pick up the cat who wants her attention and gently stroke the back of its head. Then she walked to the chair beside the glass window without turning on the lights just to watch the busy city below.
she let herself buried in the comfort of her chair while her cat found a comfortable spot on her lap and lay there as the girl stroke his soft and silky fur.
She was Yun Xie Yan, she's a half foreigner and half Chinese. She's a 22 years old girl but her looks mistake her for a senior high. She's a novelist as an occupation. She has few friends that can be counted in her two hands.
She felt tired because to what happened earlier, she felt her eyelids were getting heavier. She yawned suddenly that made her want to rub her eyes but she forgot that she was still wearing makeup and glasses, additional to that was the contact lenses she was wearing.
"Mingming, I got to get up to wash my face." She said to her cat as she stretches her hands up.
The cat seems to understand her so he gets off to her lap and lay beside a chair as he watched her enter the bathroom.
Yun Xie Yan firstly put away her thick eyeglasses then remove the dark brown contact lenses, and lastly wash her face to remove the fake freckles from her nose to her cheeks.
She looks at herself in the mirror that was still wet. A pair of beautiful almond eyes is looking at her. Her eyes now have the beautiful color of ice blue that can mesmerize the people who look into it, well that was one of her friends told her but didn't really put in her mind. She also has a small nose and lips that have a pinkish color. Her face has creamy white skin that beautifies her more. Her countenance has a mixture of foreigner and Chinese which makes her otherworldly.
She took the fluffy baby blue towel to dry her face and then turned the lights to the kitchen and living room. She let herself into the kitchen to cooked dinner.
Unknown to Sun Xie Yan that there was a man leaning to his car as he watches the tall building above.
