Chapter 4: Save The Little Things

Later that evening we go to school and in our same period he gets called to the office for a visitor. i feel like i know who it is but he never comes back i ask to go to the bathroom so i can see if he's walking the halls. the teacher says make it fast cause the lessons is important. so i walk out and go to check the bathroom i see him sitting on the floor under the sink i smile and tell him that the sink will crush him if he moves. He doesn't let even a small smirk show I sit next to him asking what happened and he says that his dad showed and that his dad said he has to be home tonight or he gets in trouble. i look at his and say if he needs anything im here for him no matter what. just then the security guard Mr. K comes in and ask whats going on i say nothing is going on just having a talk he sees his black eye and scabbed lip and asks him to come to the councilors office. Mr. K tells me he's got it from here and walks him to the office. i go ahead and buy tickets to the game later when school ended. I see him over in the office i walk in and ask him whats going on he says "they called the cops and Child Protective Services on my parents." I tell him I'm going to sit with him here as the front desk lady tells me to go home.
