Chapter 2: Tian Baizhou (1)
Yingshi kingdom was in an uproar. The princess was found beside the lake having a convulsion and a fever. Her hair was wet so the servants thought she went for a dip in the lake. It was raining last night so the fog had covered the lake, and they couldn't imagine the princess swimming when it's extremely cold.
"What happened?" Tian Baizhou, the imperial physician has been attending the princess. He was worried that the princess must have gone mentally disabled. Who would jump into the lake that cold? Her clothes was dry so she must have bath naked. As soon as the princess woke up, she was a little dizzy so she hadn't thought her answer and instead asked the worried doctor.
"What? What happened?" Meitian as she had no idea what's going on. What is he doing here? She asked herself as she was wondering why's he in her chamber.
"You're throwing me back my question?!" He was furious but also worried. He wanted to know everything as soon as she wakes up. He actually waited and took care of her personally and this little girl doesn't seem to remember anything.
"You were found beside the lake unconscious, your hair wet, having a cold! Tell me! Why did you bath in the lake so early in the morning?"
The girl was frozen, she hadn't thought they would think this way. How is she going to answer this?
She can't trust anyone, she has to keep this a secret. She was planning to escape this kingdom. She want's to leave, and be free. If anyone finds out, she would be stopped and her plan of escaping would be revealed. Can she trust this master of hers, she was pondering when her master bombard her with questions again.
She didn't listened to her master's chatter and decided to tell him she was training in the forest at night. She would just tell him to keep it a secret, she had heightened senses so she'll figured it out if he would have lied to her.
The Yingshi kingdom is made of physically strong people. There body is so tough compared to the other kingdoms. The men were trained as soldiers since they were only a kid. Even if they're a small kingdom, other countries wouldn't dare to provoke them.
As for the princess, it was still undecided why she is so weak. The emperor should be the strongest of them all. Royal blood has been maintained, and if she is the daughter of the emperor, she shouldn't be that weak.
Other people thought that her body was weak because of the late empress. The empress belonged to Weibao kingdom and was so mysterious. They're very proud people and was known for being undefeated to every war recorded through out the history. Although they had secluded themselves from the world, they're considered legends.
They thought having strong parents would cause a person to become weaker, as their body couldn't correspond or chose to the physical gift they had. Usually, a body could only chose between the strongest gift, either from a mother or from a father.
"Are you listening to me?" Baizhou asked as he noticed the little girl in a dazed. "Are you hurt? Tell me so I could cure you!" He lift his hand and touched her forehead to check her temperature.
"I'm fine." She instinctively say as she removed his hands.
