The relentless assault from Cao Cao and Liu Bei's armies proved overwhelming for Lu Bu's Army, not just a weakened body but a weakened mind was the condition of Lu Bu's men right now.
As Zhang Liao and Gao Shun struggled to rally their men and obstruct the enemy's advance, their defensive effort was thwarted by Xu Chu and Guan Yu with only their combat prowess.

However, this tactical move left a vulnerable gap in the Northern Wall where Hou Cheng was guarding it alongside Hao Meng, an opening that did not go unnoticed by the astute Xiahou Dun.
Seizing the opportunity, Xiahou Dun and his unit exploited the weakness in the defense, launching a fierce assault on the Northern Wall. The sudden and concentrated attack caught the defenders off guard, leading to a swift domination by Xiahou Dun's forces in that crucial section of the battlefield.
The battleground became a complex web of clashes, with skirmishes intensifying on multiple fronts. Chen Gong, observing the battle, realizes the challenge of needing to recalibrate his strategy to address the evolving dynamics of the battle that happened.
Lu Bu who was in his room recuperating from the effect of the poison in his wound, received reports of how the battle was not going in their favor where the Northern Wall was facing the largest crisis, while the rest was under control for now.
Realizing that his army needs him, Lu Bu rises up from his bed ignoring the protest from his doctor, and leaves the room after adorning his armor and taking his halberd in his right hand.
Outside the room, his elite guards who were guarding the room were surprised by Lu Bu who suddenly left the room, seeing that Lu Bu was heading toward the Northern Wall, his elite guards followed him to protect him, while the doctor ran toward Chen Gong's location to inform him of what had transpired.
Switching to Lie Fan's perspective, he and his retinue observed the evolving scenario on the battlefield. Witnessing Lu Bu's emergence despite his weakened condition, Lie Fan knew that their meticulously crafted plan needed immediate adjustments.
Commanding his advisors to recalculate the strategy, Lie Fan acknowledged the unpredictable nature of war and adapted swiftly to the changing circumstances.
Xun You, Zhuge Jin, Man Chong, and Lu Zhi received Lie Fan's order and began to change some of their plans, like at what time Lie Fan and his army would storm Beihai, not to take it over but to help Lu Bu and his army leave Beihai safely.
Lie Fan never planned to take Beihai from Cao Cao and Liu Bei as it was never in line with the plan he had laid out in his mind for himself, and due to the sudden change of the favor of the battle on Cao Cao and Liu Bei's side, he needs to adapt his plan.
On the Beihai Northern Wall, As Lu Bu's imposing figure stood on the Northern Wall, Hao Meng and his soldiers couldn't hide their surprise at the sudden arrival of their Lord. Concern flickered in Hao Meng's eyes, but the soldiers, fueled by an unexpected surge of morale, rallied around Lu Bu.
Meanwhile, Xiahou Dun, having received news of Lu Bu's presence, saw this as an opportunity to gauge the strength of the infamous warrior. With determination in his eyes, Xiahou Dun climbed the siege ladder and came face to face with Lu Bu.
The air crackled with tension as Xiahou Dun, unflinching, challenged Lu Bu to a duel. Without uttering a word, Lu Bu accepted the challenge. The clash of their weapons echoed across the battlefield, capturing the attention of both armies. The two warriors, each a symbol of formidable might, engaged in a fierce confrontation that would determine the outcome of the battle.
When Xiahou Dun felt his Glaive come in touch with Lu Bu's halberd, he was surprised as he courlcffel that Lu Bu's power wasn't that far from him, and he had seen firsthand how powerful Lu Bu was after seeing him coming face to face with Xu Chu.
Many may have not noticed this, especially the soldiers from both Cao Cao-Liu Bei and Lu Bu's side, but Hao Meng's eyes could see through what had transpired between the weapon contact of Xiahou Dun and Lu Bu.
His concern began to grow larger, as he could see that Lu Bu's poison affected the strength he could muster and the wounds on his back that hadn't healed yet also obstructed Lu Bu from using his prowess.
On the Main Wall, Chen Gong received the doctor's report about Lu Bu's actions. Studying the message, he weighed the potential consequences of Lu Bu's decision to personally join the fray.
Chen Gong knew that Lu Bu's sudden decision to join the battle was because of the reports he had received since this morning if he hadn't been poisoned and wounded, Chen Ging could rest easy but the situation is now that Lu Bu was poisoned and wounded.
Chen Gong was in a dilemma right now, he didn't have many generals he could send to support Lu Bu now, because due to he sent Hou Cheng and Cheng Lian to support Zhang Liao and Gao Shun, he caused an opening in the Northern Wall which took advantage by Xiahou Dun.
While Chen Gong was in a dilemma, Cao Cao and Liu Bei who received reports that Xiahou Dun managed to dominate the battle on the Northern Wall, decided to send Zhang Fei and Xiahou Yuan after consulting with Guo Jia, Xi Zhicai, and Ju Shou.
They think that this is the chance that they take advantage of to take over Beihai from Lu Bu, where Lie Fan would not attack them after they managed to take control of Beihai.
Zhang Fei and Xiahou Yuan who received the order headed toward the Northern Wall alongside their unit, where they saw Xiahou Dun and Lu Bu dueling in each other on top of the wall.
This surprised them because they never expected Xiahiu Dun can stand toe to toe with Lu Bu, and from the information they gathered from their men the duel between these two exceeded 50 bout, something that they knew Xiahou Dun could never achieve.
Since they could see that Xiahou Dun was fighting with all of his power, this means two things happened in their kind, which was Lu Bu going easy on Xiahou Dun and the other one is that there was something wrong with Lu Bu.
While thinking so, the two Zhang Fei and Xiahou Dun climbed up the wall using the siege ladders, and when they reached the top of the wall, the two of them immediately ran toward Lu Bu to support Xiahou Dun.
Lu Bu who was dueling Xiahou Dun felt the poison and his wounds taking a toll on his body, he was fighting with a much lower energy than he usually does to not force his body, but seeing Zhang Fei and Xiahou Yuan's sudden arrival he knew that the situation is turning bad.
Hao Meng who saw this also realized the situation was turning in Lu Bu's favor, and seeing how both Zhang Fei and Xiahou Yuan were heading toward Lu Bu and Xiahou Dun's location, he also has there to support Lu Bu due to Lu Bu's not on his peak condition.
If Lu Bu was in peak condition, Hao Meng would not be worried about Lu Bu facing 3 generals at the same time as the caliber Lu Bu is facing right now is much lower than the one at Hulao Pass.
When Zhang Fei, Xiahou Yuan, and Hao Meng arrived at Lu Bu and Xiahou Dun's location at the same time, the tension on the northern wall of Beihai reached its peak, as the two sides stood face to face each other.
Hao Meng who was standing beside Lu Bu realized that they were at a disadvantage, as he could feel that all three men in front of him had more power than him and that he was only holding Lu Bu back as his strength was the weakest.
Xiahou Dun, Xiahou Yuan, and Zhang Fei also felt the same as Hao Meng but with a slightly different feeling which was that they were elated that they had the advantage over Lu Bu and Hao Meng, especially after Xiahou Dun told Xiahou Yuan and Zhang Fei that there's something wrong with Lu Bu, but unbeknownst to all people here there was someone who was approaching their location.
