Chapter 11: BROTHERS REUNITE
When the Bifrost opened on Earth, it was above a grey dark night sky with Thor and Kal appearing in the sky and being pulled down by gravity.
Thor quickly summoned his lightning and flew off to Loki's location with great urgency.
"Someone is eager to meet their brother" Kal said as he watched Thor disappear in to the grey cloudy night sky.
Kal understood that Thor's mission was to secure Loki and the Tesseract then returned to Asgard and thus the urgency.
But Kal had no such urgency, he could do whatever he wanted and right now, he needed to feel solar radiation on his body so he went light speed and appeared instantly above the Earth right in the path of the sun shining down on the African continent.
Kal's body began to immediately absorb the solar radiation.
The feeling of being powered by solar radiation was different to that of being powered by the gold apples. The gold apples provided life force while the solar radiation provided power and life force.
"This feels amazing…so much power" he said as he enjoyed to solar radiation bath.
"Okay that's enough for now" Kal said as he looked at the black ring.
With a single thought, he accessed one of its functions, the pocket dimension and called out his black and gold armour which covered his body like a second skin leaving only his hands and head exposed.
He stood in the vacuum of space and looked back to the Earth as the sun reflected off the gold on his armour which was the "S" on his chest, Kal then cut through the vacuum in to the Earth's upper atmosphere and then went light speed across the African continent reaching European airspace to intercept Thor who had land on top of a Quinjet.
"So what the plan?" he asked Thor
"Extract Loki from this flying vessel, get him to hand over the Tesseract then head back to Asgard"
Suddenly the door at the back of the Quinjet opened and Thor jumped off the roof in the jet, got Loki and flow out.
Seconds later, Iron man followed Thor and Loki out then Captain America, no one seemed to have noticed Kal floating in the air next to the Quinjet.
"So should I follow or stay here and met Natasha Romanoff…"
Kal sighed and flew towards Thor's location arriving and floating in the air just as Thor throw Loki on to the top of a mountain ledge.
"Where is the Tesseract?" Thor asked.
Loki looked at Thor then laughed, "I missed you too" he said
"Do I look like I am in a gaming mood?" Thor asked as he lift Loki by his collar.
Loki just smiled at Thor and said nothing.
Thor sighed and let go of Loki, "I thought you dead"
"Did you mourn?" Loki asked
Thor nodded his head, "we all did, even father…"
"He is not my father" Loki interrupted Thor.
"Surely he told of my true parentage, did he not?" Loki added.
Odin did tell Thor about Loki's birth parents and home world but he didn't care, they were brothers who grow up playing, training and fighting together.
He turned his gaze to Loki to tell him what he felt but Loki wasn't paying attention, he was looking up at the sky.
Thor turned to see what Loki was looking which turned out to be Kal levitating in the air.
"And who might you be?" Loki asked.
Kal landed next to Loki and smiled.
In his previous life he was a big fun of Loki, from Avengers, Dark World, Ragnarok and finally in Infinity Wars.
"His Kal El of Krypton" Thor answered.
Loki looked at Thor with a confused expression on his face, "you know him?" he asked.
"Yes, he landed on Asgard a year ago and has been living there since"
Loki looked back at Kal, "are you also doing to bidding of the great Odin?"
Kal laughed, "I serve no one, unlike you, the would be King"
"I am a King" Loki said as he aggressively stepped up to Kal.
Thor quickly pulled Loki back, "trust me when I say this brother, Kal El is not to be messed with, his the current King of the arena"
Loki chuckled, "against who, Sif?"
"Me" Thor replied.
The smile on Loki's face slowly disappeared, then he slowly turned back to look at Kal. He knew winning in a contest against Thor meant Kal El's abilities were not to be under estimated.
"Enough talk, where is the Tesseract?" Thor asked
Loki shrugged his shoulders then said, "I don't have it. You need the cube to bring me home, but I've sent it off I know not where."
Thor's patience was finally pushed to the limit because he summon Mjolnir to his side.
"You listen well, brother. I..." Thor was interrupted as Iron man tackled mine mid-flight, crashing in the forest at the base on the mountain below.
"I am listening" Loki said to the space that used to be occupied by Thor/
Kal chuckled, "funny" he said as he walked to the ledge and jumped down the mountain landing in to the forest below with a Bang.
Thor and Iron man stood up at the same time and looked at each other.
"Don't touch me again" Thor said in a threatening voice.
"Then don't take my staff" Iron man replied.
Thor was about to reply when Kal interrupted, "Thor let me handle the metal man, you go watch Loki"
Thor looked at Kal, and with a frim nod of his head, he called Mjolnir to him.
He began swung it to fly back up the mountain when Iron man raised his arms and said, "No, you aren't going anywhere".
He then blast two repulsor rays at Thor which Kal appeared in front of and block with his body allowing Thor to get back on to the mountain and secure Loki.
"Looks like it just you and I" Kal said to Iron man with a smile.
