Chapter 112: spoiled her too much
In her hurry, she stumbled face down before she reached their bed, and it was at the same time when Stephen just got of the shower and saw his wife flat on the floor. "What happened Marga, what are you doing on the floor?" he helped her up and made sure that she was not injured anywhere to his relief.
"I'm okay baby, please help me, you need to save me from...." she was not able to continue what she was saying when the door to their room burst open and an angry Tommy was there, with his face red
"You little prick!!!! What the hell did you just call me?!" he then strode angrily and was about to grab the hiding little girl when his brother placed a palm on his chest stopping him midway. "Whatever it is, you don't have to be violent Tom," he said in a voice full of authority like he was talking to his younger sibling instead of his older brother.
"Do you know what your woman just said to me?! He just said that I am gay!" still trying to reach Marga, "you spoiled brat, I think we spoiled you too much, come here you, I will teach you a lesson!" he angrily muttered.
"I'm sorry big brother, I did not mean it that way, I was just saying that because I was too naive of your excellent characteristics that it did not fit the women I have asked you to date. From now on I will definitely think hard about the kind of woman you want to date. Please spare me..." she faked crying, she knew very well that her husband will be alerted.
"Don't you fake cry Marga, I know you too well little sister!" but his anger was already gone the moment he saw Marga being flustered and trying to reason out with her actions.
"Now that Marga has apologized, I don't think you should be angry any longer Tom. Just let it go this time, she promises not to do it again, right Marga?"
"Yes, definitely. I promise to look for a better date for you big brother." she smiled wide enough showing her white teeth.
"You're spoiling your wife too much little brother. But I will let it go this time but you have to be true to your words as well about finding me a suitable date." shaking his head, he strolled out the door.
Wheeew, Marga was sweating so much from running then begging Tom to let it go, well she really did not think he was gay, of course not, it was just to piss him off. The girls that she set up for him for dates where her close friends from college and they were really disappointed on how Tom acted on their date, well, serves him right.
Stephen got a new set of pajamas since she was sweating so much, she was too lazy to take a shower again. When he noticed Marga reaching for her bag and getting contraceptive pills with a glass of water, he reached out immediately, "I want you to stop taking that from now on. We are already married, it would only be natural for us to become parents as well." then threw the remaining pills in the bin.
"But what if we're not yet ready Stephen, you still have plans about broadening your career," Marga said looking at her husband intently.
"Let nature takes it course, you and everything about you is included in my plan, whether or not we will have a child or not, I just want it to more natural." he took the dirty clothes from Marga, "and besides it would be nice if Tom would be busy playing with our child instead of bothering us all the time." he then went to bed and patted the one next to him for Marga to also lie down. "You still have a long day tomorrow Marga, you need to sleep now." then kissed her good night.
Stephen was still awake and can already hear Marga's steady breathing, he can't help but imagine Marga with a protruding stomach with his child inside her womb, it would be lovely if it were a daughter and a splitting of his wife, but a son that looks like him won't be that bad either. With that thought in mind, he slept with a smile pasted on his lips, this was a good night indeed.
