He then replied back shouting:"Hey! We need some help over here!"
then he located the voice's source to ask for help, but the thickness of the forest is hindering his movement...
Kylee tried to pick his tactical knife up from his knife holster, but he realized soon that he forgot that he used it to kill a Pomoid and left it stuck on it's brain.
"Damnit! Why when I really need it that it had to be lost!"
This was causing him much burden, especially for the fact that he's carrying an injured comrade on his back. But due to his persistence to get themselves to safety, he still carried on exploring the forest.
"Hey! Are you still there?! My comrade here is in a critical condition! We really need your help!" Shouted Kylee, still struggling getting over thick clumps of forest moss and plants
Not a moment after, the voice replied
"Okay! I'll have a torch lit up! If you can see it then you're not so far away from me! Just follow it's direction and you'll be safe!"
"Copy that! Thank you!"
He replied back in assurance and gratitude...
After that, he spotted a dim, yellow light enveloping a small part of the forest from not so far away. Kylee's grim face was replaced with hope.
He hurried over to the light's direction, and looked like he was getting nearer.
"Don't die on me, Hime! We're going to be saved and you're gonna be treated!"
He arrived at the light's supposed location, and what came upon his sight was a camp site. A man was standing there holding a torch, who greeted them on their arrival.
"Hi, it seems like both of you really are injured, especially your comrade. Let me take you in and have you cured..."
Kylee let out a relieved sigh...
"Thank goodness..."
He was assured about their safety; He pacingly caught up with the man who helped them, but as they're about to get near...
*shoo...*
An arrow was shot into to Kylee's leg
"Argh!"
Kylee let out a scream of pain as he fell over along with his comrade, Himendrez.
"Wh- What the fuck?! Augh!"
Unbearable pain has spread onto his leg that was hit; it was excruciating.
"I- Is this... Poison?! Ugh!"
The man who helped them was standing in front of, who turned around and said:
"Sorry man, looks like you trusted the wrong guys today."
