Chapter 102: XIII The Abyss Overlord
The golden-haired human figure was the most powerful expert in the entire abyss, the Patriarch of the Eternal Time Clan.
looking at the million of cultivators, Demigods, Immortals, Gods and other Celestial beings bellow, his glass-like eyes showed nothing but disgust towards their greed and a unknown sentiment towards a person standing beside the Gods.
On his crown, there were thirteen colorless gemstones imbued into it, but with a wave of his hand all the gemstones turned into purple.
"Greedy Gods, you are not welcome here!" A roaring, unparalleled voice echoed from depths of the abyss, to the minds of every creature .
No, one knew from exactly where this voice came from the figure standing at the outer space, this figure was just like the king of heavens who had not even opened his mouth but it was more than enough to make every single entity tremble at the sound of his voice echoing from every direction.
All the Gods, be it Minor Gods or Imperial Gods or the Immortals and other Celestials, they had all divided into several small groups as they conquered each planet and expanded their influence over the abyss and gather more faithful in their power.
Odin, who was still with his two eyes looked at the figure and he immediately reached the conclusion that even if he and every celestial in this worlds were to join forces against this figure, there was a 100% of chance they would lose. So he did the only thing he could do. Taking a step forward, Odin spoke towards the figure giving a greeting gesture.
"I never thought there was such a paramount overlord on this independent plane. I'm Odin, the chief of the Aesir clan and the Allfather of Asgard. May I ask your great name?" Ignoring his voice, the paramount-like figure shut his eyes, right in the middle of the abyss, a group of celestials were trying to reach a pale purple star surrounded by dozens of black holes.
This pale purple star was in fact the abyss heart, the abyss's Universal Core and the source of life in the abyss. without it the entire Abyss would wither and die.
But before those invaders could do something, the purple star that radiated life changed and shot a pulse of energy towards the invaders. This energy seemed ordinary at first but when it came in contact with their skins, they felt an intense feeling of extinction that seemed to penetrate through their defenses directly at their Divinity Core or Immortal Body, ceasing their existence once and for all without the chance of reincarnation.
The figure opened its eyes in the blink of an eye and with a movement of its hand, an aura that embraced everything like open space gates in each planet that devoured billions of invaders, sending them back from where they come.
Of course, this was just the first contact, over the ages. The Imperial Gods that experienced that day alerted the others to not try to reach there as it was the place of a supreme being, but as the time passed, the gods who were arrogant and full of confidence in themselves would try to invade out of greed for the abyss treasures as it was a younger universe than theirs so it had more heavenly treasures, but the overlord of the abyss who was know to have mastered every known law was the was powerful but did not showed arrogance nor cruelty and let the gods go even if they still tried to invade later.
Years later, the young woman became the patriarch disciple and she one of the oldest members of Shadow's Eternal Void Clan and a heroine for her family.
But Shadow did not care about her, the one who marked her was the Patriarch as when she was born, he was already gone a long time since her birth. And she also had the small curiosity about what could be the face of someone who was more beautiful that every woman and more handsome that every men.
Shaking her head, Shadow returned to her usual way and she said before vanishing in the air.
"Cassie, I will leave Elijah with you. Even with a vessel body like this avatar I'm using I can't stay for long. Also boy, if what you said is true then remember to use your new powers the little as possible before finding this trinity body you have talked about."
"Understood master." Elijah nodded with his head before tuning to hear Cassie explain to him what happened while he was unconscious.
Some time later, the smoke covering Elijah dispersed and the squad leader saw the boy who has changed into a black shirt with golden veins around it, a dark gray jeans and a white coat he brought from earth.
Lily's eyes were shining as she observed Elijah's exquisite clothing with a burning gaze.
Ignoring Lily's burning gaze, the squad leader looked at Elijah with uncertainty in his eyes.
"What are you? We felt elemental energy and the presence of a divine body who usually is used by divine slaves, but you also has the vitality of a mortal and the spiritual force of the-"
"I know what you are thinking but I'm not with the gods, my energy is called Primeval Energy and is the product of my special technique. As for which technique I practice, I can not say. "Before the squad leader continued, Elijah anticipated what he would say and he thought of the best answer he could think of.
"Oh, Judging by your look, I believe you may be speaking the truth about your energy. But, I can't let you leave here alone until I'm sure about you. So, let's do this, in one week I'm going back to report for duty and receive my promotion. On this day, I will take you with me to the higher ups as I already told them about you on the Cyber-Network, so they could see you in person and decide what to do about you." After agreeing that he would only leave for the nearest town in a week. Elijah thought of using this time to understand what was happening with him and the things he unlocked with his last breakthrough as he felt something wrong about his cultivation speed and the fact he never faced a bottleneck until now.
At the same time, a huge rumbling could be heard from Elijah's stomach causing his face to redden as he said, embarrassed. "I'm a bit hungry. there is something to eat?"
