Chapter 2: Her New Crush
She talked with him throught the day whenever got some free time from her studies. Meghna was preparing herself for getting into a top notch law college while her new stranger friend was free these days as his university holidays had just began.
They used to talk everyday and know more about each other. Merely in three days she came to know most details about his lifestyle. He was not an over ambitious guy but just wanted to support his family when he got a job in future.
Meghna one day realised that she could not stop thinking about him thoughout the day. And felt like she was being attracted towards him more and more. She decided to confront him about her feelings. Meghna called him and told him clearly that she was falling for some guy. There was silence for a second at other end. She told him, at other end of the call please stand up and go to a mirror. That guy is "You".
To her surprise and shock he got shut. There was no response from him at other end of mobile line. Meghna got worried her throat felt dry for a moment. Before she could say anything ahead. He replied, "Meghna you don't know anything about me even now. Everything you know till date is what i tell you. And you belive it like a little innocent girl its not okay. We should meet."
Now she got silent at other end. She didn't knew he could make such a bold move. Also it was risky to meet him. Afterall he was right all she knew about him was what he had told her nothing more. All she knew was his name Mr. Shubh and about his university. She was just seventeen anything could go wrong on a date. He was still waiting on the line. Ultimately, Shubh thought maybe he made Meghna uncomfortable. Thus he said to her, "Meghna its okay we will wait a while more but until you meet me nothing will go ahead between us." And by saying that he disconnected the line.
Meghna got angry rather than being hurt of his clear refusal on her feelings for him. She decided not to meet him.
But they were meant to be together. Circumstances again changed in a twisted manner.
