Chapter 3: Chapter 3: Making our way downtown...
We made our way towards the hospital exit and I could see she was looking anxious and scared, so I did what any man would've done and grasped her hand. She gained a shock reaction form this and jumped a little. I saw her look down in embarrassment and I chuckled a little causing her to pout cutely. We stayed silent mostly mainly because I wanted her to start the conversation as she must still be a little shaken from the earlier occurrence. We looked around the town and saw that it was basically empty. I didn't even know how this was possible, but I heard screams from the distance. I smelt a lot of blood as the streets were littered with corpses of either human or beast. You wouldn't be able to tell that all this happened in less than a day.
"Uhm, Mr, how did you fight that thing?" She asked somewhat shyly.
'Why is she only now asking this? And oh, I didn't tell her my name aha…'
"Eehee, call me Damien… Damien Dark. As for how I took care of that beast… Let's just say I have a gift" I say scratching the back of my head.
Damien: "May I ask for this beautiful goddess' name?" I say, hoping to get a reaction and maybe start something 😉.
???: "B-b-beautiful goddess?! *Cough* My name's Lois Lane, but you can just call me Lois" (I changed her personality a bit, shyer at the start but she will become her normal stuff once she warms up to good o'l Damien.)
Damien: "A fine name, May I ask why you were at the hospital?"
Lois: "Well my daddy was a part of the army, so he said it would be a bit safer there… But I haven't seen him since this whole thing began.
What about you handso- *Cough* What about you Damien?
Damien: "Ah you know, I got into a bit of an accident causing me to go into emergency treatment…"
Lois: "Oh… Sorry I asked?"
Damien: "Nah, It's cool. I think because of that I got this cool power."
Damien: "I've been meaning to ask what are these powers? I've seen others use them and I don't quite understand.
Lois: "Well from what my dad's friends told me, the meteor shower bestowed some 'gifts' upon certain individuals. You're very lucky Damien, As am I that you saved me." She mutters the last part whilst covering her face.
Damien: "Ah it's ok, can't leave such a pretty girl in distress, now can I?"
Lois: *Blushes*
???: "*Screams* AHHH HELP HELP"
???: "HELP US PLEASE"
Damien/Lois: "Those screams."

Damien: "Lois, stay back. I'll save em"
Lois: "Damien you can't, it's too risky" 'What are you saying Lois? Why am I caring so much for his well-being? Is it because he saved me???
Damien: "I'm sorry, but I have been granted this power for a reason" 'Total BS it's just the system demands it…' I thought.
I take off in the direction of the screams seeing 2 elegant figures running from 2 beasts. I shouted towards the two fine ladies urging them to come over here as it's safe. They looked reluctant but hurried over anyways.
I felt my eyes heat up as rays came shooting out, instantly vaporising one of the beast's leg. I couldn't control the beam as it kept following my vision and sliced that same beast in half effortlessly.
Everyone watching: *Shudders at the power*
The other beast looks at me in horror, yet anger as I killed its partner. It charges at me and bites down causing me too to bleed significantly.
'SYSTEM WHAT THE HELL? I THOUGHT SUPERMANS MEANT TO BE TOUGH AS SHIT!'

The women see the beast bite me and scream in horror at the thought of their only protector dying. Without more hesitation I gripped onto the beast's jaws and snapped it (Imagine King Kong Vs T-Rex) and that was the end. I walked out bleeding from my upper body as I was in pain. Luckily, I had the adrenaline, Oh and my stats are well above-average.
Seeing my upper-body exposed the girls all blushed at the abs visible, however they snapped out of their daze seeing the blood trickle down and the marks on my chest. They all ran up and began questioning if I was ok. It was obvious Lois was worried the most as you could see her tear a little.

"Sorry girls, would you like to join me and Lois?" I said with a comforting tone, trying to show them that they're safe. Of course, they would more than likely follow as I'm their saviour but… Yeh.
After hearing me ask them this Lois wrapped her arm around mine suddenly causing me to jump in shock at such a bold and sudden move. She was blushing profusely at this. She probably wanted to let them know that she has her eyes on me which is cute but there's enough of me to go around wit this stamina… I thought.
???/???: "Ah yes we would like to go" They said cheerily in unison
???/???: "What is our saviours name?" They asked curiously.
Damien: "Damien… Damien Dark, but just call me Damien" I said winking causing them to turn red.
Damien: "So… What are you two lovely ladies called?" I said making them go even redder.
???:???: *cough cough* I'm ??? and she's ???

Seriously please suggest who I should make these 2 ;) They could be superheros, however they haven't developed their powers as the meteor shower happened not too long ago. SUGGEST SUGGEST SUGGEST!
