Chapter 3: Death
"what?" my sisters hushed tone harsh as she looked at my eyes.
"Go, please" I pushed her further behind me as I glared at the men. "I'll be fine"
Her mouth fell open as she looked between me and the men, she shook her head vigorously. A sigh left my body as I sharply looked at her. Mouthing "go" again. She stood frozen making my blood boil. "Hide behind the dumpster, in the alleyway " I harshly turned around, pushing her away from me.
The men came out of their stance, as they looked at me with curiosity. A broken smile laced their deathly lips, making me gulp.
Reflutantly sisters body disappeared into the deep night as I could see her run into an alleyway to hide. My heart felt relieved.
A soft hand, grabbed my wrist turning me around. A sizzling sounds left my wrist as the man groaned. His skin turning brown as it fell apart, falling onto the wet concrete.
The smell of burning rubber made me scrunch my nose in disgust.
In a matter of thirty seconds the mans while bones were reveled as he screamed in pain. The sound downed out by the heavy rain fall.
A minute later his bones started to deteriorate, slowly turning into ash. My heart hammered in my chest and I looked between the adults.
Questions filled my head as I looked at the man turn to dust before, his death painful as his red eyes cried a black liquid.
The second man looked scared as he tried to run away, feat filled his empty eyes.
Reaching out I touched him, he too started to portray that distinctive smell of burnt rubber, while he slowly was washed away from the rain.
My heart filled with fear as I stood frozen under the rain. My wrist red from the grip, my arm left out in front of my. Like a foreign object, I felt heavy.
