Chapter 21: Flashback 15- Meeting Ren Tao 1
Underworld people had their own rules and laws.
They would not attack someone unless they have been attacked first. Their world was a bit chaotic and had a lot of blood shed because of the constant struggle of power. If they would join in the fray, a chaotic world will be the result.

Unbeknownst to the business world, Yang Empire had an underground army that protected them for years. They were personally hired by Belle's grandfather, Richard Yang. He was Billie's father and his whereabouts was still unknown even though Belle assumed his position in the underworld. Their business consists of trafficking women and children and smuggling guns and ammunitions. Their primary costumers were those terrorists and many of them was quite satisfied with how Belle handled things for them.
Billie knew nothing of this and as for his father, he did not even knew his face much less his whereabouts. He was raised in the Yang household together with his siblings and then they bickered to the point of death until now. From time to time, they would experience death threats and assassination attempts but all would fail. Their internal strife remained under wraps as they portrayed a loving and harmonious family in front of many people.

Billie contacted someone from the underworld. He tasked him to assassinate Belle during her graduation ceremony.
"Mr. Tao... I am quite impressed with your skills and I want to hire you. I want you to kill my grandfather and daughter." the directness of Billie made Ren Tao look at him with an indescribable emotion. He could not help but admire his ruthlessness. He knew the Yangs and everything about them because some of his acquaintances were their men and have been working under them for a long time now.
They would gossip about them from time to time and in order for them to get the latest news in the business world, they would listen to their 'reports'.
Ren knew that the man had two daughters and one of them was chosen by the old man Yang to be his sole heir. If he his thoughts were right, he wanted to kill his eldest daughter.
"How much?" as this thoughts ran down at the back of his mind, he could not show at his face that he's interested at his first daughter. He directly asked Billie how much he could offer for the two lives he wanted.
"20% of the capital shares in the Yang Empire and 10 million." Billie could not read Ren Tao's mind so he just answered his question without minding any of his motives.
"Alright." Ren Tao was shocked that the man before him was capable of such feat but he could not care less as he was in this kind of business. "You have to present the papers to me before I will do the job." Just to make things secure, Ren said it because he didn't trust the man.
"You'll have it tomorrow morning." said Billie while he straightened his coat as he stood up preparing to leave.
No one would notice when a man was a skinny as a stick and had a round glasses on his face. He was much more of like a psychotic stalker than an assassin. Nevertheless, he can't be disregarded because he was ranked as number two on the assassins leaderboard.
Ren Tao on the other hand did not leave from their meeting place and he continued to order food for himself. It has been a long time since someone treated him in to a meal and he would not let it pass. His income is not that much because of the limited assignments for him.
He looked at Billie's departing back and shook his head.
He could not imagine that someone like Billie Yang will do such a thing to his own kin but he knew his boundaries. He just felt utter pity for Belle Yang because she became a daughter to someone like ruthless as him.
He continued to eat the food he ordered before he left the place. As much as he didn't want to accept the job but being offered with a twenty percent of the capital share of the Yang Empire, no one will have second thoughts of killing someone harmless as Belle and the old patriarch Yang.
Ren Tao left the place and prepared for his mission. As much as he wanted to relax because it's just a harmless young lady, he would not do so because he needed to watch every angle.
He could not afford any mishaps because it was part of their job. Assassinating Belle Yang is ane easy task for him but for the old patriarch, he could not let his guads down.
