Chapter 11: The Farmhouse
Then, I come to know that he's one of the same General who comes to meet me yesterday evening. I was shocked; Aarush could see the media rushing nearby. The moment I completed to greet the soldier, Aarush grabbed me from both his arms, and we went inside, he slowly come closer, his nose touches mine, our breathe seems to be equal, slowly he moved his fingers under my hairs, hold my waist and then he kissed me.... My eyes open wide and then few seconds later it slowly closed, I could feel the moment. We could hear our heartbeats perfectly.
That was the first time I could ever feel so special, my heartbeats were actually beating as fast as possible, I never seen my heart to be so desperate before. The media was not able to recognize him. We moved on and traveled. Then, Aarush stopped, moved back and admire my face; I took 5 more seconds to open it with a little curve of my smile. He said, "Sorry Rooh, I didn't mean to do that but..." I interrupted and said, "No it's fine, it's needed, as your fans really upset in this city since two days, so I can understand that we have no other choice..."
"How do you know that I'm Aarush Khanna?" he asked me with curiosity. "I read the headlines in that hotel with your picture showing there..." I replied and continued, "But I doubted you since we first met in the airport, you looked familiar, because of your recent haircut and body style, I couldn't find it, so I usually ignored it".
"Do we have to move to your farmhouse, Sir?" general added his words in between. "Yes, to my farmhouse for the time being, and leave this city as soon as possible, it's really complicated day by day..." Aarush talked very formally. I asked him, "Why he called you Sir, in any case, Are you an Army Man too!!??" He said confidently, "You'll be able to get that in my farmhouse...", and added, "Make yourself comfortable, it's a very long journey from here, as you want to travel the world, I have decided to keep you safe in my house..."... And also said, "Sorry to tell you that, we are not living in your aunt's house, but she knows about my farmhouse, so don't worry about it... Sit comfortably!!"
With lots of confusion, I kept silent for few minutes. Later, I opened my diary and started writing about the kiss scene of my life. He was the first man who ever does this.. This was special so I never want to forget this moment. The kisses before I had, was from the monsters of my life that entered unexpectedly and ruined my body without my permission. Then slowly, after completing the writing part, my eyes were closing, and, eventually I went to sleep for a while.
When I woke up, I guessed, I was in the bedroom of his farmhouse. The weather was so beautiful there, no crowd around, only the peace of silence everywhere, I was impressed with this place. Just what I don't know is the name of the place. Even the people around me don't disclose this. I moved out to the balcony, I could see Aarush having some workouts. "Good to see that, there is no more confusion about his name, but yet some queries are still wandering, like mainly that surname Shikhawat", I started dreaming.
I noticed him, moving inside the house, I decided to go and talk about this place, so I went to the downstairs. I could see the two generals already present there, I turned to slow down my steps and noticed, as soon as Aarush entered the room, they saluted. I was still not sure either he's an army boy or not...!!
"Good Evening Miss Rooh!! Hope you are fine, it's our place, you'll be relaxed and feel comfortable over her, from now onwards Mr. Aarush will handle your situation, Jai Hind!!" Generals said.
"Is there anything you people are hiding from me!?" I said. "NO... NO... NO Miss Rooh!!" they replied except Aarush, who was looking the floor as if ignoring my question. And then the generals depart. This was the last time I could see them. The moment they moved, I walked to the kitchen to find something to eat. I was searching in the refrigerator and drawers, but there was nothing in it. I opened the cupboard and could see two packets of noodles, till then Aarush entered inside and said, "Sorry, There's nothing here, actually I hardly come here so, everything is empty".
I asked, "Are we friends, Aarush!?"
He said, "Of course, we are!!"
We smiled and then, I said, "Do you want to share these noodles?" he laughed and said, "Why not!!! I'm hungry too." I made the noodles and he helped me to get the ingredients, but we found only one bowl with one finger spoon. He said we can manage as we are friends now. So, we arranged ourselves to sit in the hall. And, turn wise, we have our dinner, we talked about everything, like what do we like, what not, and eventually, we left with the last spoon and the bowl was with him, but I was holding the spoon. We rushed everywhere to grab that one last bite, behind the sofa, around the table and then the last bite was eaten by the floor. We laughed, but tired and lie down in the sofa that night.
"This made her smile, which means only little things will give her happiness", Aarush looked and was happy that he got a way to make me smile oftentimes.
