Chapter 20: Meeting Again
There he was, dressed in an eye catching suit. Jay didn't wear anything like the norm. Instead of a black, grey formal tuxedo, he spotted a blue coat with red lining, matching with a patterned maroon pocket square. Finishing tit up with a pair of dark blue trousers.
As dashing as he looks, Belle was startled by his presence.
"Belle! Meet Jay, my nephew. Jay, be nice to Belle. Just be friends. She's not single", warned Mrs Cruz.
"Hi Belle. We meet again. Aunt Cruz, she is most definitely single and I'm here to mingle with her", Jay replies.
Mrs Cruz stared at her nephew with dagger eyes. As much as she loved her nephew, she knew when Jay set eyes on something, he is bound to go all the way out to get it. On top of that, she also loved Belle like her own daughter.
"Jay! Behave!" Mrs Cruz was red with embarrassment.
"It's okay Mrs Cruz. He is right. I am single. Alex was cheating so I left him", Belle responded.
Mrs Cruz was horrified at Alex. She didn't know what a devil he was and how much pain he caused Belle. Belle gave a quick summary of what happened to her past relationship and how she met Alex. Mrs Cruz suddenly smiled and left Belle and Jay to catch up. She just thought what a wonderful match they both will be.
"Hey Jay. I'm sorry I left but I had to go. I hope you understand."
"Belle, let's take a walk out to the balcony. Let's have a quick chat"
It was time for the talk.
