Chapter 4: 4. The Feelings
"I've always loved you..." I suddenly wake up and find that Anne wasn't in bed anymore. I look at the clock and realized classes were finished so I walked to the classroom to get my things only to find Anne sleeping on my desk. "Hey Anne time to go home its getting pretty late." I said trying to wake her up. "Mmm... Five more minutes." She mumbled. I then found out as soon as I dozed off in the nurse's office Anne went back to class, apparently she told our teachers I needed some rest so no one went to wake me up, I think its her way saying thanks when I saved her.
15 minutes later...
"Let's go Anne its getting pretty dark." I said as she stood up from my desk. As me and Anne walk to our house I notice a silhouette of a young girl in front of the door. It was Stella, apparently she was waiting for us since we just got back home this late. "Chris where were you, I was so worried." She said as she walked up to me. "Don't worry Stella me and Anne just got pretty tired and fell asleep in school." I assured her. I invited Stella inside and asked her if she wanted to stay and have dinner with us but she said she'll just eat dinner with her parents. "Chris you go on and get dinner ready, I'll go take a shower." Anne said as she walked up the stairs. "Sure, what do you want to eat tonight?" I asked. "I don't really know, surprise me." she answered.
After me and Anne finished taking our showers, we ate dinner and Stella went home.
"Hey Chris I know its been a year since we broke up but now were together again maybe we can start dating again?" Anne asked me while I was cleaning the dishes. "I know and I still love you but it still hurts you give a few days to think about it." I said reluctantly. "I don't blame you for hating me now." she said. "I never said that I hated you, it just surprised when you said that." I corrected her.
After I finished cleaning we both went to sleep and I had a dream...
"Anne I want to go out with you again. Please don't leave me." I said. I said to Anne but she was crying and she said "Goodbye Chris... Please don't forget me... I l-love you C-chris.". "Noooo!" I said waking up. "Oh a dream" I said to myself. "What does that dream mean? Why am I always having dreams like this? And why is Anne always crying in them?" I wonder. "Ahhhhhh!" I heard Anne scream from down stairs
