Chapter 6: Zhao Yue
When Huo Lei had tossed the men out of the store, he walked up the stair to where the girl had hidden herself. Huo Lei knocked on the door, and said: They are gone now, but if you dont come out and explain yourself, I will toss you out. After that he waited for half a minute, until he heard the door open. The girl looked out and asked: "if i explain myself, will you let me stay? Of course, I will work for the food." Her voice sounded like a chorus of angels sang, hevenly. Huo Lei asked her back: "What can you do for me in this smithy? For if you are usefull, I will let you stay".
The girl thought for a moment, than said: If you are willing to listen to my story, so will I explain. They went down to the kitchen, the girl sat down on the chair while Huo Lei brewed some tea. When it was done, he poured it in two cups and sat down on a chair on the oppisite side of the table and said: "You can begin your story now". She started speaking, and the first thing she said was: My name is Zhao Yue, and I am half dragon and human. She looked at Huo Lei to see his reaction, but his face was just as cool as ice, she couldnt see a single emotion.
She than continued with her story: "I was captured by the slavers for a long time". She than told Huo Lei that she was on a boat for over a month. "When they got to this town, they got lazy, wich gave me a way to escape. And for how I can be of help, so can I actually control firespirt and make [Dragonfire]". Huo Lei was surprised by her story and asked: "What is Dragonfire"?
Zhao Yue looked at him strangely and said: "A very strong and special fire that all blacksmiths wants to use. It can increase purity in many kinds of metalls and sometimes even improve it". Huo Lei was schoocked and said: If that is true, so have you gotten yourself a job and a room. Zhao Yue was gratefull and asked: "What is your name boss"? Huo Lei looked at her and said: "Im called Huo Lei".
