Chapter 55: Valentine Dance
The months with Jackson flew by and I can say that I've never been happier. My mind overall has left the thoughts about Kenji in the dump. There were lots of time I talked to Jackson about it, and surprisingly, he was very open hearted and listened, even though it was about another guy. I asked him one day and his response left me speechless.
Me: im sorry. im sure you don't want to listen.. i just wanted to be honest with you
Jackson was silent at first
I was confused.
Me: Jackso...
Before I can finish, Jackson quickly just embraced me in a long hug. We stayed like this for a moment. Jackson finally then spoke.
J: It's okay Ori. I understand. I'm sorry you had to go through all that. I'm sorry I couldn't have been there with you.
I cried and our hugged lasted longer.
J: You've been through a lot. I understand. But don't be sad no more, because from here on out you got me ok? Always.. And i'm not going to be dumb like that guy who lost something so special like you.
I finally smiled. I'm so happy to be with Jackson and to have someone so understanding.
J: Well, actually... I have something to say...
Me:.yeah??
J: Well, if you are finish talking about your past and all.
Me:...Yeah i'm finished for now... what's up?
J: Well... I actually wanted to ask you something.
Me:... Sure go head dork.
J: Soooooo, ok, hear me out.. but do you think you'll like to go to Valentine Dance this weekend with me? Like as my girlfriend in public? Like infront of people and everyone?...
I was quiet.
J: We don't have to if you don't want to. I just wanted to...
Me: I'll love to go with you dork. Of course my sweetie pie.
J: Really?!?! (All happy)
Me: Of course. If I don't go to dances with you, would that make me your girlfriend?
J: Well, I guess not... But you're forreals right? Like you're going to go?
Me: Yes baby. Lol. Why are you so worried...?
J: Well, because every year I go to this Valentine Dance thingy alone.... and I've never gone with anyone before.. Sooo I just wanted to make sure that you'll go with me.
Me: What??? So wait, you've never took anyone to this dance before?
J:.....lol no..... You'll be my first ;)
Me: Seriously??? lol
J: Omg Ori, you give me too much credit. I'm not that good looking ok? I don't always get the girl etc etc. so No, i've never took anyone to this dance. lol.
Me: Well, I guess I'm lucky then :) Cause I'll get to go with you. Heheh
J: I guess a date it is then :) Our first dance together. I'll pick you up like always Honey.
Me: Sure thing, but what should I wear?
J: Anything you want, because regardless, you'll look beautiful.
I blushed.
I'll see you then said Jackson.
