Chapter 1: Part 1
Beep! Beep!
Son, wake up! You are going to be late for school.
This is myself: a 16 years old boy from Germany that lives with his Mother and Stepfather.
Ok! As I am going down to eat breakfast a message popped up in my phone.
(Bzzt!) (You got a message) ''You have been selected to be one of the 10.000th to receive a helm for the new VR-Game 'The Fallen Gods'! Congratulations!!''
When I saw the message I began to cry from happyness. That's because 'The Fallen Gods' will have the new most revolutionary technology. The Helm allows you to fully emerge into the game and allow to create whatever you want. From Equipment, Potions to even Skills. I got down, I ate my breakfast and I was ready for going to school. As I opened the door my Mom spoke in a cold voice to me: ''Don't forget that I gave you money to buy yourself a bus ticket not food for school.''
Me: Ok ok mom I won't. See you afer school. Bye.
At school as I finished the two periods I've burst out of the classroom's door just because I wanted to tell my friend that next week I will be able to play the game with him. As I approched my friends I saluted them. After that I began to talk: ``Dude you won't believe what kind of message I got early in the morning.´´ Mark asked me curiously what kind of message I got.
I answered with my proud little arrogant self: ``I was the lucky 1 of the 10.000th that got a free helm from the company that produces the game ``The Fallen Gods´´. My friend was excited because he knew that my luck was very immense. Why is that? Well that is because my family was never lucky.
At the age of 5 I lost my Father in a car accident and after we lost him we were struggling financially a little bit. After my stepfather came into the family our situtation was a little bit diferent. Not much but we were living like a normal family would. ``So Mark when is the game coming out?´´ ``Mate... from what I was informed it should be coming out next week, when is your helm going to be delivered?´´ After I talked to him about all the details the bell rang and we had to say goodbye because luckily today I had only 4 periods. After I was finished with school I took the bus home.
