Chapter 2: Chapter 2: 1 Year Old
Time flew past. The six month old Rietta was one year old now. On her one year old birthday, the Gyrn family throw a huge party for her. A lot of nobles are invited even the Royal Family came. It seems her mother is the best friend of the Queen and the Queen seems to like her. She never left her side and kept holding her.
She accidentally heard that the Queen only have two sons and she don't have any daughter. It seems she longs a daughter of her own but unable to have.
Anyways, before that, she realized that she got reborn into the novel she was reading before she died (so stupid, right?). It's a story about a heroine who was from a humble home. She was a bright young lady with great talent. She can play different instrument, have a high IQ, and she's so friendly that everyone wants to be her friend. When she was sixteen, she took an entrance exam to the Royal Academy. The students in that school are all children of nobles and merchants. And only the brightest and well off are the only ones who are allowed to enroll in that school. Unexpectedly, the heroine got admitted to the Academy. With her smartness and talent she was given a scholarship.
And the story will start, the heroine, believing that she can get along with everyone in the school, entered the Academy with high hopes and confidence but reality was much more cruel. The daughters of nobility hates her and felt that she was ruining the prestige of their school. They bullied the heroine and made het feel unwelcome. While the other girls, daughter of merchants was not helping her due to the reason she was not one of them, a merchant and rich like them. The boys are different, they don't bother with the girls but some of them are helping the heroine for the reason they got charmed by her sunny disposition.
The number one villain in the story was Henrietta. She was a shy, gentle, and cute girl. But, as she got blamed for the things that she did not do. She slowly turn dark. Doing all the things that they said that she did, making it all true.
And the hero of the story, the crown prince, Mikhail Sage von Astoria. The oh-so-perfect-prince, talented, smart, charming and gentle. He's the fiance of the villain, Henrietta, they were betrothed since childhood by their mothers. The prince fell in love with the heroine when she 'saved' him once and after that he decided to left Henrietta for her.
That's the summary of the novel she was reading. She was regretting that she just only started reading the story. If she was not mistaken she was reading chapter four before she died. It's the part where Henrietta started to turn. Ugh... Curses. She should've read it when she saw it but her favorite manga just realesed another volume and she finished it before reading that novel, <Lovely Maiden>, she's certainly doomed.
Ugh... If she only knows that this will happen to her, she'll read all the spoilers, theories and fan fiction of her fellow readers.
Well, she need to survive! Her number one goal is not to turn evil! She will walk the righteous path and will not waste this precious life.
Her first goal, make all of her family love her and adore her!
Back to reality.
In Gyrn Household. Nursery Room.
"Mama~" Little Rietta slowly tottered towards her mother, her eyes glittering like a gem, and a beautiful smile on her lips. It's like flowers are blooming around her.
Her mother, Annalisse, open her arms wide to catch her little daughter. My, her daughter is really beautiful like her. With those violet eyes, thin and perfect arch eyebrows, small nose, and petal like lips. Add the so rare Gyrn signature hair, silver hair tinge with pastel purple at the tips.
Ah~ What a beautiful child! Her daughter will be the prettiest in the whole kingdom!
Her daughter finally reached her and hugged her.
"Mama~ I love youuu~" Rietta said sweetly and kissed her cheeks. Her daughter giggled and started playing with her locks of hair.
"My~ I love you too Darling!" She kissed her baby's cheek and lifted her up.
My, she's now getting troubled. Her daughter is too cute! She don't want her to grow up and get married! Sob. She better watch her daughter carefully. Others might want to steal her. She's so beautiful and smart! At one year old she can walk and speak straight. Even her husband found it amazing. Their sons can speak straight at two to three years old. My, their precious daughter showing signs that she can surpass her brothers.
"Mama~ play~" Little Rietta smiled brightly, and pointed her little fingers to the doll on the floor.
Well, it's probably wise to instruct their sons that they need to watch and pamper their sister.
With a smile on her lips, Annalisse played with her daughter.
Her daughter is the best!
