Chapter 1: Chapter 1: The Beginning
Disclaimer: (the dialogue is written like a script to make it easier to tell who is talking and who is not.)
Many years ago, when humans, dragons, centaurs, Minotaur, and many other beings shared the world together, there was a long peace between them. That was until one dragon ended that peace. A dragon known as Dracos, also known as the dragon of rage.
Dracos did not hate humans, dragons, or any other creatures of the world individually. He hated everything. This dragon could not be persuaded, bargained, or even reasoned with. All Dracos wanted was to watch the world burn. A king hired a group of young warriors to kill the monstrous dragon. The six warriors challenged Dracos and defeated him. But sadly, only two of the warriors survived.
It was the greatest of miracles. These two warriors, a man and a woman, had done what many thought impossible. These two warriors looked at the dragons dead body, and saw opportunity. They found the greatest blacksmiths there were in the world, and asked them one simple request. Turn the dragons body into many weapons. They planned to use these weapons in case another threat like Dracos ever emerged.
The blacksmiths used as much of Dracos' body as possible. They used his bones, skin, scales, and blood. They were able to forge seven ungodly weapons. These weapons had their own power. Each weapon was engraved with a number, from one to seven. The number tells which is the strongest and the weakest of the seven.
No ordinary human could wield one of these weapons. The weapons have minds of their own, and each weapon chose its master. If someone who was unworthy tried to wield one of these weapons, the weapon would kill them without mercy. Destroying the very soul of the person, their body turning to black ash, it would be as if they never existed. These weapons would be named "The Dragon Weapons."
The first weapon ranked number one, is the spear of the dragon, or the dragon spear. The shaft of this spear looks like the body of a dragon. Scales all along the shaft. The bottom of the spear is like the end of a dragon's tail, a sharp arrow like point. The head of the spear is an open dragon's head with a blade coming out of the mouth.
The second weapon ranked number two, the axe of the dragon, or the dragon axe. A long dragon is engraved into the shaft of the axe, and the head of the axe is a giant double headed blade. Like the axe the raiders of the Vikings used.
The third weapon ranked number three, is a Damascus katana. The blade of the dragon, or the dragon blade. The handle, guard, and scabbard are made from the bones of Dracos, and near unbreakable. On the black blade a dragon is carved into it. The fourth weapon ranked number four, the nun-chucks of the dragon, or the dragon chucks. The chains, and the chucks of this weapon are pitch black, and each chuck has a silver dragon on them.
The fifth weapon ranked number five, the gauntlets of the dragon, or the dragon gauntlets. The gauntlets appear to be made of steel, but are far stronger. The armor around the fingers of the gauntlets are scale shaped. The sixth ranked number six, the mace of the dragon, or the dragon mace. Like the gauntlets, the mace has a steel like appearance. On the ball of the mace are six large spikes, and at the hilt is a leather band to swing the mace from ones' wrist. The seventh and final weapon is the scythe of the dragon, or dragon scythe, ranked number seven. The whole scythe is black, at the top where the blade connects is an open dragons mouth, much like the dragon spear. The blade of the scythe is jagged like teeth.
The two warriors went to the king to receive a reward for saving the world from Dracos.
King Logan "Rise brave warriors. Tell me what your names are."
Leon "I am known as Leon, your majesty."
Lilynette "And I am known as Lilynette, your majesty."
King Logan "Rise Leon, and Lilynette. There is no need for you to bow to me. You have not just saved this land, but the whole world. And your four comrades paid a great price, they will not be forgotten. You are the ones we should be bowing down to. That is why Leon, I am making you my successor."
All the knights look at the king in shock.
Leon "But your majesty."
King Logan raises his hand to silence all of them, and then says, "my time on this earth is about to come to an end. I have lived a long and failing life, my wife died before me, and I have no children. As I said you have proven yourself worthy to claim the throne."
Leon "Thank you your majesty, I swear I will not fail as the new king."
King Logan "I believe you. And what of you, Lilynette was it? With a king, the kingdom will also need a queen. And you have proven yourself just as worthy."
Leon and Lilynette look at each other. They then smile and hold each other's hand.
Lilynette "It would be an honor, your majesty."
Three days' pass, and king Logan dies. The biggest funeral the kingdom has ever seen takes place. Everyone in the kingdom mourns for the loss of their king. Exactly one hour after King Logan's funeral, Leon and Lilynette are crowned as the new king and Queen. The very next day, the black smiths returned to them with the seven weapons. The strongest weapon, the dragon spear chose Leon as its master. The second strongest of the weapons, the dragon axe chose Lilynette as its master.
The remaining five weapons did not find anyone within the kingdom worthy at the time to wield them. So, King Leon and Queen Lilynette locked away the weapons until their masters arrived. When someone worthy of one of the Dragon Weapons, the weapon would vibrate and glow a soft shade of crimson.
Ten years pass, and King and Queen are blessed with two children. Two boys, the first son was named Maclin. The second son born two after the first was named Lancelot. Three years later, Lilynette would bare more children, twins this time. Two girls, they would be named Milena, and Valinteena. It wasn't hard to tell them apart. Milena has black hair, and Valinteena has light brown hair. But there was something about them that amazed everyone for years to come. For most twins the one who comes out first is considered or in some cases determined as the older sibling. But for Milena and Valinteena, they are the exact same age. How? Lilynette achieved the impossible and amazed both the doctors and Leon. She gave birth to her twin daughters at the exact same time, yes this should have killed either her, or her daughters, or at the very least broken her pelvis. But through shear will power to live and keep her children alive, and with limited medical supplies at the time, all three of them survived. Yes, this means that Milena and Valinteena are the exact same age for the rest of their lives, until the day one of them dies.
After the near loss of his wife, and daughters, Leon decides to find some better trained doctors. His search yielded no results for a while, until a wizard and some of his apprentices visited a pub in the kingdom. Leon approached this wizard and asked his name, he replied with "Merlin is my name, and at the moment I'm looking for a place to rest." Leon let Merlin make residence in his kingdom, and as thanks Merlin, and his disciples became the healers of the kingdom. As the name implies the healers are witches and wizards who use their magic to heal the residents in the kingdom.
Three years later, Leon and Lilynette would have their final and youngest child of the five. Another son and his name is, Lazariss. One year after Lazariss' birth, the Dragon Weapons started to have some sort of reaction, letting it known that their masters are near. The first of weapons to react was the dragon gauntlets, they chose Maclin as their master. The dragon gauntlets are ranked number five. Not long after Maclin received his weapon, Lancelot was chosen by one of the weapons as well. The dragon chucks, ranked number four, chose him as its master.
At this point Leon and Lilynette, assumed that all their children would be gifted or deemed worthy to wield a dragon weapon. And just as they predicted, it happened. One week later, both Milena and Valinteena were deemed worthy to wield a dragon weapon. Milena was chosen by the dragon scythe, ranked number seven. Valinteena was deemed worthy to wield the mace of the dragon, ranked number six. And a couple months later, Lazariss would be deemed worthy to wield the final dragon weapon. The dragon blade, ranked number three.
They all would spend the next five to seven years training, so they could use their weapons properly and not destroy everything in sight. Obviously, things didn't go so well at first. Each one of them had their own, problems.
