Chapter 17: Chapter 17:Countdown to Finals and Winter Break
Lunch and the rest of the afternoon classes went on smoothly for Angie and her friends. Every class Angie had wanted to make sure that the class submits any late assignments in the next two weeks as the week before winter break is finals week.Every teacher gave time for students to study and submit late assignments for half credits in class and some teachers even gave finals study guides that students needs to study for finals.The day ended as a normal day for Angie who walks home with her friends.
As winter break approaches teachers are busy planning out there reviews and students are busy with there reviews.Last minute assignments are also being submitted to teachers for half a grade.With everyone being so busy the week before winter break soon came. Angie and her friends will have different days to take there finals with each school day being half a day.There finals week consist of Monday being the last day to submit assignments and the rest of the week will be final testing days.
Monday:
Angie gets to school early enough to get breakfast and meet up with her friends.Everyone meets at there usual table and talks about there plans for winter break.As everyone was busy talking about there plans the bell rings signalling that everyone has ten minutes before the late bell rings.Angie says bye to her friends and heads to her first period.First period pass by with Mrs. Bell finally collecting all due assignments,informing her students of there new class room after winter break, and also giving her students a tour of the new class.The bell eventually rings signalling for class to be over and it was time for Angie to head to Mr. Ramirez class.Just like first period both Angie second and third period pass by quick as all that was going on was submitting assignments.When the bell finally rang for PE, Angie heads to the lockers with Yari and they both change on to there PE uniform and head out to stretch.After basically just walking around the whole period the bell for lunch finally came and Angie and her friends head to the lunch lines.Everyone at lunch just chatted away with no worries.Just like how the whole morning was passing by quick,the last two periods of the day passed by quick and it finally signaled the end of the school day for Angie and her friends.Evening time came and Angie spends time with her little brother and also staying up late to study for her finals as the rest of the week consist of testing.
Tuesday-Friday:
Tuesday morning came and Angie was up bright and early despite her staying up late.Angie gets up and gets ready for school.She even left early so that she can meet up with her friends.Just like Monday,Tuesday passed by quick with Angie taking her first and second period finals.The rest of the week also passed by quick.On Wednesday, Angie took her third and fourth period class finals.Thursday was the same,Angie took her fifth and sixth period class finals.Once the bell rang during there last class everyone rushes out of there classes and head out to the front of the school.Angie and her friends meet up at there usual corner of the front of the school.Once everyone was there they all took pictures together to signal the start of winter break.As everyone leaves little by little both Angie and Kia start to walk together and heads over to Angie house.Once at Angie house the girls heads to the kitchen to get some snacks and then heads to Angie room to get some board games and movies as Kia will be sleeping over as there is no school the next day.Winter break has finally began.
