Chapter 7: First Kill
In his previous life, Kogi never got into a fight in his life, other than his fight with hunger and maybe screaming at that evil cat. But now his first fight was a full on death situation. His excitement started to increase his dragon breathe rate. Nature energy started to pour into his body and was rapidly purified. His felt his muscles tense. He rushed forth exchanging blows with the tiger. Even tho the tiger was nibble and dodge most of Kogi's attacks. He didn't give up and he even stopped dodging even scratch he got. His battle intent intensified.
Qwemna was slightly impressed. He didn't know the kid had it in him. He decided to give him some pointers.
"Not bad but how long are you gonna be at this?"
"When he attacks to brace your legs for impact and you won't get slapped away as much, also focus on its attack pattern. Look for a flaw and attack it aggressively"
Kogi accepted his "masters" instruction and after a few attempts he was able to barely steel his body. The tiger on the other hand started to realise that the human was slowly improving and it was getting bothersome to kill him. It jumped away into the air then fired 3 small fireballs.
Kogi was caught completely by surprise. "It could breed fire?!" "What the heck?" He hurriedly dodge. What followed after was 3 small explosions. He looked at spot he just dodged from and the area was scorched black. Those small fireballs was dangerously than then look. Luckily he didn't take the chance. He looked back at the tiger and decided he had to end this quickly. "What if it was more than 3 fireballs?" He didn't want to stay and find out. He devised a plan and dashed forward. The tiger didn't want him to get close so it jumped into the air getting ready to fire more fireballs but before it could shoot them. He realised the human was a few inches away from him. He it's surprise kogi had jumped with him. The tiger wanted to change its attack but it was too late . Kogi had reached the tiger and heavily kicked it. Before it could get too far he grabbed it with his good hand and flipped in the air with the tiger in tow. He then proceeded to continuously knee the tiger while they both fell from the air

Impressively during the whole fight kogi had only been using one arm. Thats where his plan came from he decided to use his unformed arm as a knife to stab the tiger. As he slammed the tiger down. He quickly used the unformed arm to aggressively stab the tiger in the throat instantly killing it

Kogi was sprawled on the ground beside it grasping for air. He was exhausted, but a smile was plastered on his face. He had finally got the upper hand of the beast. He had used his injured right arm to jab it into the tiger's throat.
"Very clever, you took longer than I had expected but you are ultimately human" Qwemna said in distain.
Kogi wasn't bothered by Qwemna's praise. The images of his battle was continuously flashing through his mind
Qwemna wanted to continue his judgement but he had other things on his mind. He had felt a faint undulation of nature energy coming off the creature's body but he couldn't believe it. It was impossible. The creature was too lower level to possess a beast core. It's the first time since entering this world that Qwemna has been so astonished.
Only higher level be formed after a tribulation can have nature energy present in their body. So he had dismissed the idea. But who would have this weakling at this stage.
Is it because of that lake?
Qwemna wanted to investigate further. He ordered the human to get up at once to investigate the creature's body.
Kogi didn't notice the smell of blood before but the stench was enough to make him sick. He suppressed his feelings and continued on. He almost vomited when he approached the dead tiger.
Kings Perception was always active and not a technique he could deactivate as long as he had natures energy in his body.
I want you to absorb this creature's blood!
"What do you mean? Like a vampire? I won't!" Kogi immediately refused.
"Brat! Do I have to tell you everything?"
"The nature energy inside this creature has already been purified so it is very safe save. Besides, the energy doesn't have any owner now since the creature is dead. How do you think a dragon grows? It is by devouring the energies of those it kills."
Kogi had completely forgot his body was a mess he could now feel the pain.
"All you have to do it is use Dragons breath; you will be able to absorb this creature's nature's energy including its source of vitality ultimately increasing yours and your chances of survival"
"In order to find our way out, we will need to venture throughout this cave… who knows what other insect creature is lying in wait to snap your neck apart! Qwemna hated to talk so much but unfortunately he couldn't do anything without the fools help.
"If it can be done, I will naturally try to do so" Kogi said as he finally understood what Qwemna meant plus he didn't want to get eaten by some unknown animal.
Qwemna had hit a soft spot. The only thing Kogi had in this world was his life and he will protect it.
Kogi immediately activated dragon's breath. He watched as white specks of energy rose from the tiger's carcass and seeped into his body. The process was much easier than he expected.
All the wounds from the previous battle were slowly healing and his missing fist was partially restored. It now resembled a baby's hand. He was elated. The hunger he was feeling before slowly begun to vanish. Absorbing the tigers source of vitality was a good supplement even his bones were becoming stronger in the process.
The creature's blood will attract unwanted predators. it's great we found this lake. This should...." qwemna said in disgust
But Before qwemna could finish talking he sensed the presence of another insect. He knew the kid couldn't handle this level of insect yet so he decided to unleash his aura and frighten it away.
Kogi, oblivious of what just happened but decided to wait patiently.
"Now back to what I was saying with this lake you would be able to cultivate to dragon Physique"
"I can't! I will explode"
"I'm obviously gonna help you but it will still be painful"
Kogi could sense his disgust but knew they both needed each other to survive.
Qwemna being a man of action started to coat Kogi with a fine membrane of azure light.
"Step into the lake" qwemna said demandingly
Kogi then proceeded to walk into the lake. As soon as his feet touched the lake. He felt nature energy rushing to through his leg and then throughout all his body.
It was painful but he knew that if it wasn't for his "master " protection he would be in danger. He slowly continued to take 10 more steps.
"Fool stop wasting time! Go to the f***!ng centre!" qwemna shouted.
Kogi was trying to feel out the changes in his body but he knew of his "master's" impatience. He immediately dived in. Having his whole body in the water, the pain intensified, He bored the pain and swam to the center and took a seat.
Qwemna begun to increase the intake. He was told it would be painful but he didn't imagine this. Kogi felt like he was constantly being stung by electric bees. The energy was being purified by qwemna and pumped into his body. His blood, bones and organs was going through a drastic transformation. Hollow explosions where going of in his body.
