Aymelek had accomplished much over the past month. Securing her standing with the boy, Ryker, had been an easy task. He had fallen head over heels for her, just like the others. She sighed, while making her way toward the entrance hall. Rumor had it, a group of new comers were to be introduced today, and Aymelek had a feeling...
It wasnt of impending doom or anything, just a gut feeling that a new stepping stone would be implemented that would help in the long term goal. Ryker, appeared from behind, wrapping an arm around her waist. For a moment Aymelek paused, forcing herself to remain still, while her inner wolf snarled and ranted about removing the males appendage from his body. She smiled, turning.
"Good Morning Love." Ryker stated giving her a kiss on her cheek.
"Morning Ry." She stated back, faking a playful giggle.
**Just one swipe of our claws. We can effectively remove his lips and arm. Mate would find humor.** her wolf stated with a dark laugh.
**Easy Narissa.** Aymelek mentally chided her wolf, as Ryker droned about something regarding his latest orders. She turned it out, making it appear as if she hung on to his every word whilst they took their seats. A harsh command echoed out, from one of the commanding officers thankfully silencing the droning male. Mentally Aymelek praised the goddess for the reprieve from the insufferable talk of Ryker, averting her attention. It was then that the scent came to her... Another female? Cerulean gazenarrowed taking in the filing newcomers, til they settled on one particular newbie. A girl, no older than Aymelek herself. The male beside her almost an exact replica to her.
Twins!? Aymelek leaned forward slightly, ignoring Doctor Schrackners words as he began introducing himself, their goals focuses yadda yadda yadda. Then...
"I present Subject 0192." And Aymeleks attention immediately averted, distracted from the intensive gaze upon the 2 newbies. There he was. In all of his glory, but something was... different. She narrowed her eyes upon him, and nearly leapt from her chair.
The slightest sliver of Silver flashed. Immediately Aymelek mentally reached into their bond.
**My love Speak to me please. Let me know you hear me.** she begged her eyes brimming with unshed tears. She waited, a long while, ignoring the droning, her eyes solely focused upon her male.
**Be still My Love... our body... is weak... we are struggling... but we are here.** came the whisper of Brakius, Jerichos wolf's reply.
Aymeleks eyes widened startled and her hand went to her lips, her body practically vibrating.
"Hey it's ok, its sedated Ayme." Ryker whispered, smiling at her believing her reaction to be fear, instead of the excitement and relief she felt. She ignored him, her brain scrambling while her wolf howled internally with absolute joy. Finally, after two years, they were hearing the voice they so longed for. It wasnt Jerichos, but Aymelek and Narissa were one in their elation.
**Please, Tell Jericho I love him.** She linked to Brakius, mentally she could almost picture is magnificent head nodding softly in acknowledgment.
**Jericho... wishes you know... he will kill human male... whom dares touch what belongs to us.** the voice of their mate once more reached out in a whisper, but it was enough for Aymelek to smile with giddiness. Oh she knew, she knew his possessiveness would pull through. She smiled, but her good mood fell as she sensed their male returning to the stasis unable to remain awake any longer. She pressed her hand to her chest. The steady ache of loneliness returning briefly, before Aymelek narrowed her eyes. She reached, far into her recesses, grasping onto the only other threaded bond she had.
**Jericho is awakening. I will have 2 new recruits by the end of this week.** she stated a new sense of determination awakening.
**Jesus it took to you long enough.** the bond to her packs beta responded as he immediately opened up the mind link channel to the entire pack.
**I dont have much time so listen Very closely.** she mentally explained while proceeding to explain the plan quickly, her eyes focused solely on her mate.
