Chapter 1: The Begging
It was a dark day in Dublin Ireland it was raining and Europe was in all out war. The Nazi managed to capture all of Poland and are pushing through the Netherlands and Belgium but as for know that is far away. A figure sits in a tavern trench coat dawned with Guinness in one hand and the ether a case file. The File described a missing man and all know possible witnesses and suspects which at that point where none. After a while the man gets up and walks out leaving a small tip for the
barkeep, we know follow this man into the Dublin police station with a scowl on his face clenching the file in his left hand. He walks over to a small desk in the corner of the building and sits down before another figure approaches "George you okay" We know learn the detective is no ether then George Bellmont know for his persistence and stubbornness "What do you think Arthur that I am joyes to see a case that has no information to go off of?" Arthur looks down at him and begins to speak but before he says a thing they are both interrupted by the chief of police Danny Timens. "So how is the best detective in the department feeling" George glares back at the chief and with all the sarcasm in the world replies "I am just peachy"
"Well I am sorry for the case but your the best we got also this case wont go on your record unless you solve it because I just know how much you love your squeaky clean record of no unsolved case's" George then looked down at the case again and read aloud what information he had been given "Missing Person's Report A One Doctor Belmore age 35 Hight 5,9 Missing Since December 10th 1942" He then paused and looked up "It is know January 15th 1943 so may I ask how many ether's have either denied this case or failed" The chief then paused for a moment and then replied "25" George then took in a deep breath "So you are telling me you want me to take a case that 25 detectives and police men either have failed to solve or just down right rejected it" The Chief looked around for a second and answered "Yes" George then looked at the file again and replied with a smirk "I'm in".
