Chapter 21: miss Mary qi

he keeps hugging me but after a while he stops. "something the matter?" he asks worried. I look down feeling very sad for michelle. "I have this friend named Michelle jins and she was forced to do something to me by 2 men if not they would kill her mom" I say upset. "I need your help so her mom and her will be ok!" I say getting teary. he smiles." sure! but lets wait for tomorrow, and sleep well ok she will be fine" he says kissing me. the next morning i hear the door bell. "I'll get it!" I shout. micheal looked confused but just watched me. I open the door and theres a path of roses. "huh? whats this?" I ask myself. micheal comes and takes a look. "did haru do this?" i ask. "well I'm not sure, he didnt mention this" says micheal. "maybe we should ignore it, what if it is for your friends to find their way here" he says. "lets go see!" I say. "b-but what is its a trap! ever since you got here a few people are already trying to kidnap you!" says micheal worried. "we'll be fine! lets go!" i say pulling micheal and follwing the roses. we get to the end and micheal pulls me quickly to hide. "whats wrong?" I ask whispering. "do you know then?" he asks whispering. i take a peel and see a lady that looked about in her 6o's and wore a black dress with black earrings. I panic and realize who it was. "well do you know her?" asks micheal. "it's m-my mom!" I say loudly. micheal panics and covers my mouth with his hand quickly. I look at him mortified. we see a shadow and look up. since we were sitting down on the grass my mom seemed really tall. "what are you doing! is this how a lady acts?!" she shouts. I flinch and get up and help micheal up. "so you're dating a butler?" says my mom frowning. "no, and don't judge! micheal is a GREAT butler" I say loudly. "you dare raise your voice at you mother?!" she shouts. i flinch and apologize. "come in-" i say sighing. haru comes out the door and greets my mom. "Jasmine this is Mary qi my new partner in work, we will be joining, and I will help her company becone stronger" he says introducing me. "I know who she is haru" I say angrily. he looked confused. "really? where did y'all meet? or see each other?" he asks wondering. "lets just say she gave birth to me, so I knew her since I was born" I say sarcastically. "what?! really? shes your mom?" he says so confused. "mom, haru rich-" she stops me in the middle of my sentence. "he hired you as his mistress! ugh! you disappointment of a child!" she shouts at me. I look down upset. (wait a minute! I'm not the who relys on a man for literally EVERY THING!) I think to myself. "listen mom! you need to stop judging me when you were a mistress as well! and besides I'm NOT a mistress! haru rich is my boyfriend! and he actually wants to marry me!" I shout at her. (sorry mom, but youve never really treated me the best way) I think. my mom stands there while looking mortified. haru frowned at her for what she said to me. "y-young haru! I'm really sorry! I didnt mean to-" he cuts my mom off. "its ok! but whatever jasmine decides to do with you I will not help you!" says haru angrily. "daughter I'm terribly sorry! I didnt mean it! you were always my favorite! I was harsh because I-I wanted a better future for you?" she says. I frown but try to calm down. after all she is my mom and I do not want to harm her.
