Chapter 18: Water Drake
(Water Drake) "GGGAAAAAOOOOOOO"
(Bruce) 'Why is this happening...'
(System) 'Most likely due to the high concentration of mana on the island'
(Bruce) 'I wasn't really asking for an explanation. But some information about drakes would be really appreciated right now...'
(System) 'Request confirmed. The draconic race is split into 3 different types. Drakes, Wyverns, and Dragons. With Drakes being the weakest, and Wyverns and Dragons being the strongest'
Bruce glances over at the 5 meter tall Water Drake currently ragdolling a very unlucky Great Jagras...
(Bruce) 'So what your telling me, is that this Water Drake is the weakest of the draconic races...'
(System) 'That is correct, the power of a Drake is nothing compared to Wyverns and Dragons'
(Bruce) '...'
Bruce glances at the Water Drake once more as it yeets a E rank adventurer through the air...
(Bruce) 'Out of curiosity, how strong are Dragons...'
(System) 'Well, Around 200 years ago a cluster of medium and small sized nations managed to anger a lesser Dragon by attempting to steal from its treasure hoard. This resulted in all of their nations being reduced to nothing but a flaming wasteland. And around 5,000 years ago two Elder Dragons got into a heated argument that quickly escalated into a full fledged battle, and...'
(System) '...'
(Bruce) 'Why'd you stop?'
(System) 'You might not like what you hear...'
(Bruce) 'Just tell me anyways...'
(System) 'In just 3 days, the medium sized continent was reduced to a small archipelago, and the surrounding continents were bombarded by storms, hurricanes, etc. Claiming the lives of millions of humans and monsters alike...'
(Bruce) '...'
(Bruce) 'Note to self, don't piss off dragons...'
(System) 'Would you like me to set a reminder for you?'
(Bruce) 'Please do...'
(Bruce) 'Also, give me a physical description of all the draconic races'
(System) 'Acknowledged. Lesser Drakes are around 3 meters tall, no wings, broad body, 4 legs, their scales are colored to match their element, they may or may not have horns, they can have a long or a short tail, and they're front legs are capable of grasping objects. Drakes and Greater Drakes all share the same physical characteristics as a Lesser Drake. With the only difference being a change in size and magical power. With Drakes reaching 5 meters in height, and Greater Drakes reaching 7-8 meters in height'
(System) 'Lesser Wyverns are around 7-8 meters tall, 2 legs, a set of large wings acting as the front limbs when on the ground, a large but aerodynamic body, their scales are colored to match their element, they may or may not have horns, they have a long tail, and they are capable of grasping objects with their wings. Wyverns and Greater Wyverns all share the same physical characteristics as a Lesser Wyvern. With the only difference being a change in size and magical power. With Wyverns reaching 10-15 meters in height, and Greater Wyverns reaching 20-25 meters in height'
(System) 'Lesser Dragons are around 40 meters in height, 4 legs, a large set of wings, a large impressive looking body, their scales are colored to match their element, they may or may not have horns, they have a long tail, and they are capable of grasping objects with their front legs. Dragons, Elder Dragons, and True Dragons have the same look. But they're size can be anywhere between 50-100, and they're magical power far surpasses that of a Lesser Dragon'
(Bruce) '...'
(Bruce) 'So Dragons can reach the same size as Godzilla... Great.....'
(Bruce) 'Also, I have one more question before we deal with...'
Bruce watches as the Water Drake yeets a very dead Great Jagras at the group of adventurers attempting to slow it down...
(Bruce) 'That...'
(Bruce) '...'
(Bruce) 'Anyways, what's the difference between an Elder dragon and a True Dragon'
(System) 'The difference between an Elder Dragon and True Dragon isn't all that important. In fact, their are even True Elder Dragons living in the world somewhere. Dragons become Elder Dragons after they live for a long enough time, due to their ability to become more powerful the longer they live. And True Dragons are born when a Dragon manages to purify it's bloodline to perfection. Evolving into a True Dragon. And it is possible for either a True or Elder Dragon to become a True Elder Dragon'
(Bruce) 'Neat...'
(Bruce) '...'
(Bruce) 'I should probably try and help the colonists a little...'
(Water Drake) 'GGAAAAOOO'

Currently, Alexander is running towards the nearest church carrying the injured adventurer from earlier
(Adventurer) "Lord Alexander... You should just leave me *Cough*. The others need your help more than me"
The adventurer is right in that regard, but due to his injuries. It is very clear that if Alexander didn't get him to the church or some other healing facility. He would surely die
(Alexander) "Do not worry commoner, I'll make it in time to help out, I promise"
(Adventurer) "Do you have to call me commoner *Cough*. It's a little rude you know"
(Alexander) "It's only rude because everyone made it rude. Those false nobles always used that word in a very negative context, therefore giving the word a negative meaning in the eyes of all"
(Adventurer/Commoner) "..."
(Alexander) "You see, it's all about context. The wor-AND we're here!"
Alexander bursts through the church door carrying a very injured commo-I mean adventurer. The church is average in size with stone walls, it has colored glass windows with silver frames. Each window portraying a different god

Inside the church, a priest can be seen standing in front of the alter, preaching to the large congregation that is filling up the pews. This priests name is Andrew Leeman, an old man with a talent for preaching. When he preaches, its not like other priests who are full of energy and vigor. Trying to light the flame of passion among their congregation using their loud voices and grand words. Instead, his voice is calm and captivating. It draws people in to its calming depths full of wisdom and knowledge, almost like an old grandpa reading their child a story before bed. He's human, average in height, and slightly slouches over when he stands due to his old age. He wears white church robes and a white church hat. He carries a staff in his right hand and the book he's preaching out of in his left. He has a long grey and white beard and blue eyes, and many would assume he's just a simple old priest. But in reality, he is so much more
When Andrew was younger. He was a paladin of the Church of the Omnigod. An organization created by one of the ex Archbishops of the Holy Paladarian Empire to fight against the extremest teachings of the Holy Church of Paladar, who permit only the worship of Paladar, god of light. Unlike the Church of the Omnigod, who permit the worship of only real gods. However, they don't permit the worship of the chaos gods. They don't deny they exist though, and try and teach their followers about the dangers of the chaos gods instead [I'll make a lore chapter explaining stuff in better detail soon]
Andrew was powerful, reaching rank B a little after his prime. However, as he continued to age, his rank began to drop. So he decided it was time to retire and become a priest. Currently he is at rank C and suffering from back pain... However, he is still happy with his life, and is currently enjoying his sermon...
*gaaoooo*
A faint roar could be heard coming from outside the church. The only person who noticed it however was Andrew. As the roar was to quite for anyone else to truly hear... Something about the roar seemed familiar to Andrew. He continued with his sermon, but at the same time felt something was wrong. While still giving his sermon, he tried to remember what could have possibly made that roar. He gave up after a couple minutes however, as nothing came to mind. So he decided to put all of his attention back into his sermon, but just as he started to flip the page from his book... {The church has sound dampening magic cast around it so no one is bothered by any outside commotions}
*BAM*
The church doors burst wide open

Alexander flung the church doors wide open, causing Andrew and the congregation to stare in his direction. So he just lightly waves at everyone before trying explain the situation to them
(Alexander) "Hello there. I don't have time for introductions, but I need you to help tend to this very injured commoners wounds so I can go and do something about the giant monster that made them"
(Very Injured Commoner) {Coughs up blood}
Everyone just stares awkwardly at the strange sparkling man who just burst into their church, carrying what seems to be a bloody and armored corpse. They only realized it wasn't a corpse after the adventurer coughed up blood all over the floor..... ew...
...
(Child) "Mommy, why is that man so sparkly?"
(Childs Mother) "I don't know Tim, just look away for now"
(Child) "And why is that other guy so bloody?"
(Childs Mother) "I said stop looking Tim"
...
The awkward silence lasted a couple seconds before a screaming adventurer came flying through the church window...
(Alexander) "Well that makes two commoners that need healing I guess..."
Alexander starts to head out the door before the adventurer he carried stops him for a moment before asking him a question
(Adventurer) "I don't think you'll make it in time *cough*. That monster is strong, by the time you get there *Cough*, there will be many casualties"
(Alexander) "I'll make it, I'm a lot faster than you think"
(Adventurer) "?"
(Alexander) "Simply put, I had to run slowly to get here. If I ran full speed, you most likely would have died"
The adventurer is surprised for a second, but after said second he just laughs to himself a little before passing out
(Alexander) "Now which way was it again..."
Andrew see's that Alexander is about to leave, and was just about to stop him before a powerful roar could be heard very clearly through the churches open doorway
*GAAAAOOOOOOO*
(Alexander) "Ah!, that's where it came from!"
Alexander takes a sprinting stance before he darts towards the source of the roar at ridiculous speeds, causing a large gust of wind to blast through the church, making quite the large mess
After Alexander leaves, some of the churches sisters [nuns] take the two injured adventurers into the back room for treatment while Andrew dismisses the congregation, telling them to evacuate and get to safety. Andrew is approached by another priest with short blonde hair and blue eyes, this priest is his great granddaughter Lilian
(Lilian) "Father, do you happen to know what made such a powerful roar?" [father, as in a priest]
(Andrew) "*sigh*"
(Lilian) "?"
Lilian stares at Andrew for a while, waiting for an answer before noticing that she's now looking up towards him... He's even got massive muscles now as well...
(Lilian) "Father... Where you always this tall and musculature..."
(Andrew) "..."
(Andrew) "Lilian..."
(Lilian) "Yes?"
(Andrew) "..."
(Andrew) "Fetch my warhammer for me will you..."
(Lilian) "..."

Alexander is currently sprinting down the streets towards the source of the roar at full speed. And once he started to get close to the source of the noise, he activated his magic storage ring, and a majestic set of armor appeared around his body
The armor was made of pure gold with whitesteel lining the armors edges. The armor was shimmering with magical enchantments that increase its durability, as well as make it more resistant to elemental and magical attacks. Alexander then proceeds to pull out a large claymore from his ring. The guard of the claymores hilt is pure gold with the handle being made of platinum. The blade however was the most impressive. As the bulk of the blade was made of pure whitesteel while the blades edge was orichalcum. A metal shining with more of a golden luster than gold itself. The blade is also enchanted with several enchantments strengthening its durability and attack power, as well as some light, fire, and holy elemental enchantments [I'm just going to call durability and attack strengthening enchantments default enchantments]
Alexander also equips a defensive magic amulet and several defensive magic rings before he arrives at the scene. And once he finally arrives, what awaits him is a giant creature emanating a suffocating pressure
(Alexander) "You've got to be kidding me..."
While Alexander tries to think up a plan, he hears Walters familiar voice behind him
(Walter) "A Water Drake huh... This is going to be quite the problem..."
(Alexander) "Walter, its good to see someone like you here... I'll need your help with this one"
(Walter) "You seem to be taking this quite seriously? Well, that's a good thing I guess"
(Walter) "Anyways, I've brought Jem with me as well"
(Jem) "Sup"
(Walter) "We would have been here sooner, but we had to take some time to equip our equipment since we don't have something as amazing as your storage ring with us"
Jems equipment is two magisteel sabers with default enchantments. His armor is magisteel halfplate with the parts that aren't magisteel being leather made from the pelt of an Ursa Minor, a B- ranked monster. The armor has default enchantments. He also wears an amulet of speed and 2 rings of protection
Walters equipment is a magisteel arming sword with default enchantments and a wind enchantment. And his armor is leather armor made from the hide of an Ursa Minor, the armor has minor default enchantments and a agility boosting enchantment. He also wears an amulet of agility, a ring of protection, and a ring of agility
(Alexander) "Well no matter. Anyways, it seems that the weaker adventurers did the smart thing and retreated after holding off the Water Drake long enough for the stronger individuals to take over"
Alexander watches as the remaining D ranked adventurers {The E and F ranks retreated} hold off the Water Drake alongside some mages who where nearby. The adventurers who are skilled in melee combat are acting as a distraction and trying to slow down the Water Drake, while the mages and adventurers skilled in magic bombard the Water Drake with all sorts of magic
(Alexander) "Also, how long do you two think it'll take for more reinforcements to arrive?"
(Jem) "Not in time, that's for sure... All the other D ranked and our very few C rank individuals are off exploring the forest..."
(Walter) "I second that opinion, as most of the D and C ranked people also decided to go exploring the forest when they got here..."
(Alexander) "Well, since its just us three for now..."
(???) "Actually, make that five"
(Alexander) "?"
The new arrivals are a large man wearing a full set of whitesteel plate armor and a beautiful witch who looks very familiar to Alexander. The mans equipment is his whitesteel armor, a large whitesteel warhammer, and a large whitesteel shield. With all his gear decorated with gold as well. The witch is wearing fancy long black robes that fit tightly around herself and a stereotypical black witches hat. She carries with her a blacksteel magic staff decorated with platinum, with a diamond fixed on the end of the staff as a focus point for her magic. She has purple eyes, long black hair, average height, and mature physique [Andrew in armor = 6 or 7 feet, witch = 5 feet, 4 inches]
(Alexander) "Well well, if it isn't the old priest from the church"
(Andrew) "So you could recognize me even though my appearance changed?"
(Alexander) "If it was just your appearance then no, but to a noble as great as myself I could tell by your aura that there was a lot more to you than meets the eye"
(Andrew) "Well that's interesting... For someone so young, you sure have mastered the art of sensing your opponents aura"
(Alexander) "Well I am a noble after all"
Alexander poses a little for dramatic affect... But his eyes move on from Andrew to the very inappropriate looking woman...
(Alexander) "Do I know you..."
(???) "Just a little~"
(Bruce) 'Oh god no...'
After hearing her voice, something in the back of Alexanders head seemed to be screaming for him to stop digging to much into it... But his curiosity got the better of him...
(Alexander) "Whats your name?"
(Liza) "My names Liza~, But you can just call me-"
(Alexander) "Stop!!!" (Bruce) 'STOP!!!'
This time Alexander was sure something was wrong... So he interrupted Liza before she could finish whatever stupid sentence that almost escaped her mouth
Liza just looked at Alexander strangely for a second before grinning a little
(Liza) "Ara Ara~"
(Bruce) 'NOOOOO!!!' [Every novel needs one... So here she is... urghhh]
Alexanders eyes widened as the sound waves registered in his glitter brain, this resulted in years of brain bleach being undone. Allowing him to completely remember-
(Alexander) "GET BACK WITCH!!!"
Alexander quickly jumps back a good 10 feet
(Liza) "Aw~, but your just so fun to tea~se"
(Alexander) "No, stop, my beautiful brain doesn't need to remember such vile memories of your presence monster!"
(Liza) "This would be a very fu~n conversation to drag o~n, just, to, te~a~se, YOU... But sadly I don't think he's going to wait for us"
Liza points at the Water Drake who is now staring straight at them... Not sure whether to be amused because of their stupid antics, confused because of the strange situation unfolding, or enraged because of their ignorance... The Water Drake decides to go with the latter and charge straight towards the group...
(Water Drake) "GAAAAOOOOOOOO!!!"
(Jem) "He doesn't seem happy..."
(Walter) "Indeed... Anyways, I know most of Jem and Alexanders ability's, tricks, etc... But could you tell me some of yours to help us coordinate better?"
(Liza) "So~rry. Its~. a~ .se~. cret~."
(Andrew) "I'd like to keep my ability's to myself as well..."
(Walter) "..."
*Crash*
Everyone in the group jumps out of the way as the Water Drake smashes the area they were all standing a second ago with its claws. Sending debris flying everywhere
(Liza) "We~ll aren't you a feisty one"
(Alexander) "Shut up you evil witch and focus"
(Liza) "O~h, your so commandi~ng"
(Alexander) "STOooP iiiIIT!"
*Smash*
(Alexander) "See, your highly distracting words almost got me killed!"
(Liza) "Your just the be~st to tease *giggles*. Anyways here's a gift to all of you testosterone filled heaps of muscle"
Liza pulls a magic scroll out of a magic storage ring and fills it with mana. Causing the magic scroll to extend outwards around Liza in response. Soon, magic circles and arrays appear around the scroll before the scroll disintegrates into blue looking particles. The magic circles/arrays then proceed to activate next, and as they disappear into a bright blue flash, five magic bolts zip through the air and hit Liza, Alexander, etc
(Alexander) "What spell did you caste on us witch..."
(Liza) "*giggles*"
(Alexander) "Seriously you vile conglomeration of indecency. What did you do to us..."
(Liza) 'Nothing much, I just linked our minds using telepathic magic, that's all'
(Alexander) "..."
(Jem) 'Hello? Testing... Can you hear me?.. Hello-'
(Walter) 'Yes I can hear you... anyways-'
*Crash*
(Walter) 'That one almost got me... Well anyways, whats our plan?'
(Andrew) 'Well, with just the five of us. There's not all that many options when fighting a Drake other than defeating it in close quarters combat'
(Walter) 'Have you fought against a Drake before?'
(Andrew) 'Yes, it was during a church subjugation raid however. It succeeded easily because the Drake was younger and had just evolved, underestimating our subjugation forces large amounts of manpower, machinery, and preparation. Thus leading to its downfall... But compared to that Drake, this one is surely more experienced when it comes to combat'
(Walter) 'Well, do you have a few tips regarding Drakes that you could share?'
(Andrew) 'Young one, I have more than a few tips...'
(Walter) 'I'm 95...'
(Andrew) 'Like I said, your young' [The lifespans of humans are around 2 to 3 times longer in this world..... I might have forgot to mention that...]
Andrew proceeded to explain the art of how to not die instantly to a Drake once they start to get serious... Although, it was hard at times due to the Drakes constant attempts to turn the group of five into a bloody stain on the floor whilst he was explaining things
To sum it up, he warned them not to travel to far away from the Drake. As that action will tempt the Drake to use its most powerful weapon known as Elemental Breath. Its a severely weaker version of Dragons Breath, but it's still powerful enough to cause damage to even U rank creatures, even if it is just a weak imitation of Dragons Breath. Simply taking the Drakes mana and firing off as a concentrated beam of whatever elemental affinity the Drake has
The Drake is still powerful in close range however. Using Elemental Armor to cloak itself in its element for defense, however, this action is highly draining on the Drakes mana reserves. A Drake also has its Elemental Blast, a mid ranged attack that fires a blast of elemental energy from the Drakes mouth [Elemental Breath = Beam - Elemental Blast = Something like a fireball]. This attack works in all situatuons, since the attack can be used at close, mid, or long range effectively
For melee combat, A Drake will use Elemental Slash. This attack simply coats the drakes claws, fangs, tail, etc, with its element to use as a attack booster for physical attacks. And for a Drakes final attack, it has Elemental Burst. Andrew warned everyone to be careful, as this attack can be extremely deadly. Basically, the Drake can use as much mana as it wants for this attack. The more mana, the more power. And once released, it fires a elemental pulse from the Drakes body in every direction. At low power, the most it will do is stagger an opponent. But if the Drakes backed into a corner, it may use every last drop of mana it has in this attack. The result will severely injure the Drake, but at the same time cause catastrophic damage to its surroundings
(Andrew) 'That's all I can remember at the moment... *sigh*, it's hard being so old...'
(Jem) 'How old are you...'
(Andrew) 'Well..... I, uh... Stopped counting at 250...'
(Jem) '...' [Side note, Bruce did manage to listen to their conversation. As mental conversations are somewhat of a specialty to him at this point...]
(Jem) 'Nevermind... Lets just start fighting...'
Jem fills his two swords with mana before casting an agility boosting skill that trades stamina for speed. Dashing towards the Drakes legs. The Water Drake tries to knock him away with its tail, but Jem manages to barely leap vertically over the tail, using one of his swords to keep the tail from making contact. His blades skid across the Drakes scales causing sparks to fly everywhere as Jem skids across the tail before landing on the ground before dashing towards both of the Drakes right legs
(Jem) "TAKE THIS"
Jem releases a powerful flurry of mana infused slashes on both of the Drakes right legs as he dashes by. His slashes are also infused with some skills to increase his attack power slightly more when he does this
Jems flurry of slashes create a shower of sparks as the Water Drakes scales crack under the power of Jems strikes. Noticing the Cracks in its scales, the Water Drake decides to kick it into high gear. As these humans are definitely stronger than the pathetic ones he fought earlier
The Water Drake tenses his muscles as he swipes at Jem with his tail once more. Jem attempts to dodge the tail like he did before, but this time the tail is going 2-3 times faster than it did previously. Luckily, before the tail makes contact, Liza uses her magic to quickly yank Jem out of the way just in time as the Water Drakes tail creates a shock wave that obliterates the spot where Jem was just standing
As Jem fly's back, he crashes into the ground around 5 meters away from Liza, he asks her a question that just came to mind now for some reason...
(Jem) 'Now's probably not the best time, but... What rank are you? We never really asked...'
(Liza) 'O~h, that's quite the interesting question now is~, n't~, it~'
(Alexander) 'B-'
(Liza) 'It's rude to give away a woman's secrets you know~'
(Jem) 'Also, how old are you if your rank B-...'
(Liza) 'It's also rude to ask for a woman's age a~s well'
(Alexander) 'She's-'
(Liza) 'Finish that sentence, and nothing in this universe will be able to save you...' {Menacing} [Think Jojo...]
(Alexander) '...'
Alexander charges towards the Water Drake at full speed to face it head on, as fighting a Water Drake is infinitely safer than standing near Liza at this moment in time...
Seeing Alexander charge the Water Drake, Walter and Andrew decide to support him and charge into battle as well
(Andrew) 'Blessing of Strength, Blessing of Speed'
Andrew castes two blessings on Alexander, while this is happening however. Walter is zipping around the Water Drake at high speeds while harassing it with long range wind blades from his arming sword
The wind blades annoy the Water Drake, so it use's Elemental Slash to coat its limbs with high pressure water. The Water Drake then proceeds to retaliate with a flurry of slashes from its claws and a couple tail swipes infused with Elemental Slash as well
The raw power from the strikes alone are enough to create shock waves, and turn the ground to rubble. But with Elemental Slash added, the ground ends up getting pulverized into dust. But for some reason, the Water Drake can't manage to land a single hit on Walter
(Walter) "What, can't hit me?"
(Water Drake) "GAAOOO" [D:<]
The Water Drake furiously swipes its claws at Walter in a rage. Trying its best to turn him into a bloody mess on the ground
(Andrew) 'Try not to provoke it to much... We don't want it using Elemental Burst or we'll be in some serious trouble'
(Walter) 'Noted, Arch... This is annoying... Even with all my agility boosting enchantments and skills, this things still able to barely keep up with me using only its brute strength'
(Liza) 'We~ll, that's understandable. Just look at those well toned muscles~, they're so chiseled that its visible even from underneath all those tough scales~'
The Water Drake felt a slight chill go down its spine for a split second whilst attacking Walter...
(Walter) 'Anyways, you done catching your breath Jem... I'm barely managing to dodge this stupid Drakes attacks anymore...'
(Jem) 'I was born ready! CHARGE!!!'
Jem uses more of his skills to boost his speed even further to reach an almost similar speed to Walters. Both of them harass the Water Drake relentlessly, sadly, the Water Drake is having none of it and starts spewing out Elemental Blasts all over the place while simultaneously slashing towards them using Elemental Slash
However, whenever one of the Elemental Blasts comes close to hitting Jem or Walter. Andrew jumps in front of the attack and uses a powerful skill known as Divine Shield. A skill that uses a physical shield as a catalyst to project a large magical shield similar in design to the catalyst. The shields strength depends on the quality of the shield used. He then uses the spells Holy Armor and Armor of Light to further buff the magic shields strength even further
Each time the shield takes a hit from an Elemental Blast, multiple cracks form on its surface. Forcing Andrew to use more stamina and mana to repair them each and every time. However, while Andrews been intercepting the Drakes attacks, he's also been charging up an attack of his very own inside of his warhammer
However, this does not go unnoticed by the Drake. And it fires off a large volley of Elemental Blasts in order to interrupt the attack. However, Liza castes multiple large magic circles in front of Andrew to block the attacks
The magic circles break from the impact of the volley, but the remaining blasts don't have enough power to break Andrews shield. Allowing Andrew to complete the charging of his attack. Liza also uses several magic buffing spells in order to boost the attacks power even more. After doing this, Liza starts to chant a followup spell to use after Andrew uses his supercharged attack
Andrew disables his magic shield and pours all of the remaining mana he has into his attack. Lightning violently crackles around his hammer as he raises it into the air. Sensing the threat, the Water Drake activates Elemental Armor at full power, while Walter and Jem retreat back towards where Alexander is standing... Who for some reason is kneeling with his sword in the ground with his eyes closed like he's trying to concentrate
Andrew swings down his hammer, in which giant bolts of lightning come crashing down upon the Water Drake. The ground underneath it turning to glass under the intense heat, and the Water Drakes Elemental Armor seems to be taking serious damage from the attacks sheer power, but somehow manages to successfully negate any serious damage. Andrew falls to the ground in exhaustion, and Walter and Jem quickly grab him and retreat far away as the Water Drake angrily fires several Elemental Blasts towards them, but was interrupted from firing any more when a massive fireball around the size of the Water Drakes body slams into the Drake, destroying its remaining Elemental Armor and some of its already damaged scales
The magical attack Andrew released filled the area with dense mana, blinding the Water Drakes mana sense. So it didn't notice Liza casting such a grand spell while it was busy defending against Andrews attack
(Liza) 'Damn, not even that attack worked. That's some re~ally thick defense'
Liza then looks towards Alexander in confusion, as he's not even thrown a single attack thus far. And then there's the fact that he's been in some sort of meditative state for a while now
(Liza) 'What are you-'
Liza's sentence is interrupted as a powerful aura bursts from Alexanders body, and continues to get more powerful by the second. His body is overflowing with mana, and it's even caught the attention of the Water Drake
As Alexander stands up, one can see that his eyes have turned a blueish silver color, and a majestic silver aura is surrounding his body. Liza instantly understands what skill this is, and is quite impressed, as it is the first time she's ever seen it
The skill is called Limit Break, and it is a highly dangerous skill that only the most talented and good natured humans can use. As the skill is only given to those that Dauros, the god of hero's deems worthy [I couldn't think up a good name. So I went with a name from one of the gods in one of my favorite games called Majesty]
The skill is simple, as it breaks ones limit, giving them a massive x2 boost in all stats. However, the skill can only be used once a month. Also, when activated, it will slowly drain the health, mana, and stamina of the person using it over time. And when the skills effect ends, the person using it will be unable to move for about an hour, and they will also lose 75% of their stats for a week
Alexander has now used just a skill, and is channeling all of his remaining energy into his sword for one almighty attack. This change in power manages to scare the Water Drake quite a bit, because whatever attack Alexander is planning to use might actually kill the Drake. This causes the Water Drake to use one of its trump cards, and begins to charge up its Elemental Breath in hopes of finishing off Alexander before he finishes whatever he's doing
Liza see's what the Water Drake is planning and tries to intervene by casting another spell. But the Water Drake creates a miniature piece of elemental armor on its tail at points it towards Liza. The armor then proceeds to spew a constant stream of powerful water bullets, forcing Liza to stop casting any powerful spells and focus primarily on defense
Alexander himself actually isn't sure whether or not he'll be able to kill the Water Drake with his next attack. As its managed to survive quite the onslaught thus far, proving its durability. And if its pushed to far into a corner, it might decide to use Elemental Burst
Alexander Disregarded these thoughts however, because he was a noble. And this was his only shot at actually killing the Water Drake
So Alexander charges toward the Water Drake at full speed, creating a massive shock wave behind him. But just as the Water Drake was about to release its mighty breath attack upon Alexander. A massive beam of pure mana came out of nowhere and slammed into the Water Drakes neck. Destroying and heavily damaging almost all of the scales it came in contact with. The impact also caused the Water Drakes aim to shift, making its Elemental Breath attack shoot off into the Scaly Forest, mowing down rows of large tree's while at the same time slaughtering all of the unlucky monsters that just so happened to be in the path of the attack
Alexander didn't slow down for a second even after the appearance of the strange mana beam. And charged forward without any fear. The Water Drake tried to fend Alexander off with a Elemental Slash infused claw, but he just manages to barely dodge it as the claw glances his side. But now that he's close enough, he lets off a loud battle cry as his aura converges on his sword and he swings it towards the Water Drakes neck, sending a massive silver colored arch to flying into it
Just before the arch made contact with the Water Drakes neck however. The Drake decided to get a good look at the person who interfered with that massive mana blast. And what the Drake saw was a large, fancy, and ridiculously complex looking set of plate armor flipping him the bird with both hands. Causing the Water Drake to give off one last furious roar before the massive silver colored arch separated the Drakes head from its body. The arch didn't stop there though as it continued to soar through the sky cutting some clouds in half
Now victorious, Alexander decided to take a look at the man who fired off the mana blast before he inevitably collapses on the ground. Unlike the Drakes experience however, the set of armor waved towards him in a friendly manner before disappearing into the distance... Alexander then collapsed on the ground and passed out. When he woke up, he found himself sitting nice and bandaged up in bed... However...
(Liza) "O~oh, I see that your awake now~"
(Alexander) "..."
Alexander leaps out of bed immediately and jumps through the window without a second thought

(Nobleman) "Where am I... Ugh..."
The nobleman Alexander kicked wakes up laying inside a small crater surrounded by tree's, bushes, plants, etc...
(Nobleman) "Oh yeah! That damn sparkling man kicked me through the air! Next time I see him, he's-*rustle*"
(Nobleman) "..."
The nobleman stops talking due to the rustle he heard in the shrubbery
(Nobleman) "Whoever you are!!! Show yourself!!!"
The nobleman yells out into the tree's... But receives no answer
(Nobleman) "..."
(Nobleman) "Must have been a rabbit or something..."
Just as he says this, a Great Jagras leaps out from the bushes and grabs the nobleman in its mouth. The nobleman screams in terror, but is quickly silenced by the Great Jagras as it proceeds to swallow him whole. The Great Jagras then proceeds to derpally waddle back into the forest as the nobleman is digested alive and whole within its stomach :D
