Chapter 16: Riolu's PoV

-- Right after hatching from egg --
The first person I saw was mother as she slowly hands me to my brother also known as Jin.
He was surrounded by his friends and celebrated his 2nd birthday of whatever they called it, I asked my mother why did she give me to him?
She answered, "he is your destined partner, your bestfriend."
We grew up normally until his 3rd birthday where he was given 'shurikens and kunais' by his so called 'father'
After that we woke up early and 'father' taught us how to throw shurikens and fight side by side with each other, hand to hand combat and more.
A few years after that, we went to an 'academy' and we learned lots of stuff. I also made friends with many others like me.
And a few years more we are now on our first mission and I was excited.
We were returning after rocks rained and we saw a lake, he was thirsty so he drank from the water.
Something suddenly attacks him, and I rescued him, but something pulled him into the water.
I tried to jump in the water but there was something like a wall blocking me.
I punched it again and again till I had no strength left.
Then I got exhausted and something gets thrown here.
I saw Jin...
His dismembered body...
His head lost...
I hear a thud and saw his head roll...
I'm feeling something I don't understand...
Something just cracks inside me, and it fills my head...
It fills it with thoughts on how to KILL THIS BASTARD IN FRONT OF ME!!!
THIS FEELING OF HELPLESSNESS AND RAGE!
I WANT TO VENT IT OUT!
Suddenly I feel something changing.
Something like me changing forms.
I feel like I'm evolving.
HAHAHAHA!
THIS IS IT!! I'M FEELING POWERFUL! I FEEL LIKE I CAN TAKE CARE OF THESE BASTARDS!!
