Skye P.O.V.
Cade and I went to the office while... I admit it... being a cheesy couple. I can't help it!!! I feel so comfortable with him. Ever since he asked to be my boyfriend about 3 months ago. I know we fell in love too fast... 'about less than a month?' but were taking it slow now. But not too slow!!! I'll have you know we've already kissed twice! >.<

Anyway back to reality
Oh wait. Right you're probably wondering why I wanted people to call me Skye now right? well... the truth is. One night I had a nightmare it was unlike any I've had before. It was very realistic that... let's just say it was unpleasant and since then whenever someone mentions 'Rose' I just remember that dream and... well I hate it that's that.
Though they don't know the reason they still follow that, which I am thankful for but sometimes they forget and call me Rose.
But... it applies to all except Cade. When he says it I don't really feel uncomfortable. No, I even feel a warm tingling sensation. Its... Nice.
Ah right and after two months of being together we umm... >v< kissed for the second time >x< !!! hahaha yeah and because of that Ulrika came back. but she did say she felt weaker than before but it doesn't matter Ulrika is back!!! I've also learned that she isn't just any wolf, but the only people who know about her being special is just me (of course), Cade, Zack, and the higher council... okay that's quite a lot but aside from them people just think I have Alpha blood which is sort of true? but not?
Oh well. Before I knew it we've already reached the office...
Well... that was fast.
"Come in." a faint call was heard from inside. ... What? He may be our beastie but he's still our alpha. And respect is a must.
Sup nerd!!!" ... guess who said that... of course Cade. duh.
I chuckle a bit thinking about how contrary his actions / words were to my previous statement. *sigh* that idiot.
(Zack)"Sit down douche. Skye I have no idea how you manage him every day." he looked up from his paperwork to face me.
(Skye)"Well, like how you did before."
(Zack)"... huh... I'm really getting old seeing as how I want this whippersnapper out of my office as soon as possible."
I chuckle a bit more and wonder how he was able to say that so seriously.
(Cade)"S- Shut up uhhh... dork."
(Zack)"Idiot"
(Cade)"... Hippie!"
(Zack)"Hippie?"
(Cade)"yeah hippie!!!"
after that exchange Zack and I both just... stared at the lovable idiot with a triumphant smirk on his face... probably thinking he won that exchange...
(Zack) "*sigh* anyway I have called you both here for a very important mission."
(Cade) "Anyone else coming with us?"
(Zack) "Yes, Ben, Ivy, and Patrick will come with you. I expect you to inform them after leaving the office. I just... can't handle the stress those three give when they are standing right in front of me."
(Skye) "Alright then, that can be done. So what's the mission?"
(Zack) "Well I hope you do not freak out about this Skye. It is a job entrusted to us, specifically you Skye, by the Royal house. The four will just be your bodyguards, we have also been ordered not to send more or less than 5 including you. Personally I believe the command actually came from the Great Witch herself."
(Skye) "Alright then, hit me."
(Zack) "Well I couldn't think of better warriors to send so I hope you understand. They have sent us a letter to dispatch 5 of our strong warriors to train a certain pack. Not only that but you will also have to do detective work in accordance to their previous trainers and a caretaker. They have been caught to be spies three days ago with two of them having their bodies cremated and the last having escaped."
(Skye) "Wait. why would they cremate their bodies? Wouldn't the bodies identify who they were?"
(Zack) "You see that was it. Their third companion was the one who was believed to have cremated her comrades' bodies. And I believe you know or at least knew her. Her name is Hana Williams but we also believe that it was just a false name."
(Skye) "Wait! Ms. Hana?! Caretaker? A-are y-you talking a-about t-the N-Nix Pack?!?"
(Zack) "Well yes but calm down Skye, I was just- "
(Skye) "CALM DOWN? YOU WANT ME TO CALM DOWN?! WELL HOW AM I SUPPOSED TO CALM DOWN WHEN YOU SENDING ME BACK TO THAT HELLISH PACK AND DON'T YOU DARE SAY HANA IS A TRAITOR!!! SHE WAS LIKE A MOTHER TO ME. THE ONLY ONE WHO LISTENED TO ME!"
(Zack) "Skye would you please calm down? And I am not calling her a traitor. And I will only say this once but we have found out what the Redman may be."
(Skye) "...huh?"
(Zack) "Skye it was just recently discovered what the identity of that man was. He was just a regular wolf of the Triton Pack. But the thing is. He was recorded to have died 1 and ½ months prior to when he attacked our pack. The other two were also regular werewolves of the Dysnomia and Charon packs but were already recorded dead beforehand.
The higher-ups did a little bit of research and have found the soil of their graves undisturbed and the locks of their crates unopened but their bodies missing and a hole opened through the back of said crated. It is simply unbelievable to think that their bodies were pulled from within underground but it was the only solution available. Not only them but close to a hundred body-less crates were discovered. Also, the Nix and Ganymede packs were the only ones recorded having been attacked."
(Skye) "But why? how?"
(Zack) "We don't know what they are but what we do know is that they are planning something, something big and we are sending you five to find any clues they may have left. We're counting on you."
(Skye) "Understood."
I felt more weight add on to my burdens. Why do I have to have this power? why does it have to be me? didn't I already suffer enough?
As soon as we left the office, Cade pulled me into a hug. And with a voice with such warmth and care he whispered into my ear
"It will be alright Skye. I'll protect you, remember? I love you and there is no need to be afraid."
"Thank you. I could always count on you."
