Chapter 90: Which country am I eating?
"Bahahaha… It's the first time in my life that I'm eating a pizza of this shape" Anaya said taking out a slice from the pizza. "I don't even know what shape it is anymore. I did not know that you love this amoeba shape so much Great Chef Dheer. Let's see, which country am I eating." She chuckled as she finished talking.
Dheer frowned. "Then don't eat it if you don't like it" he said as he tried to snatch that slice in Anaya's hand.
"Hey hey! You cannot do this. I was just kidding okay. And when did I say that I do not want to eat this. I am just saying that you really have admirable skills to make this shape of the pizza. No one else have such remarkable rolling skills okay. Renowned chefs of the industry are gonna surrender before you. Even they cannot make a pizza of this shape. You rock Dheer" Anaya said, showing him a thumbs up with one hand at the same time eating the slice of pizza with other hand, resorting to desperate means when she saw her food was going to be snatched if she continued with her mocking. Besides, she could always mock him later, after she finished the food.
After having a bite Anaya marvelled "Wow Dheer. It's really delicious. You really are a good chef. I did not expect it to be this good." Anaya said munching on her pizza. She was really amused by the taste.
"I told you I am a good chef." Dheer smirked. He too grabbed a slice and began munching.
With the flour being added again and again to the dough, they had plenty of dough ready and had made two large pizzas. But with them starving from the day and with all that cooking, soon they finished everything on the table.
Just as they finished cleaning the table, the doorbell rang. It was Rudra.
"You were not in the apartment so I guessed you would be here" Rudra said as he entered the room.
"Yeah, Dheer was going to make pizzas so he invited me over." Anaya replied.
"Anything left? I am starving." Rudra asked shamelessly. 'If Dheer wanted to win Anaya over he has to learn to take care of us too. Hmphhh', he gave a reason to his shamelessness.
"You are late. We just finished eating." Anaya said clumsily. "Let's go to our apartment I will quickly cook for you something." She began dragging Rudra, a little embarrassed by his impudence.
"I can make one more pizza here. It would not take time as I have all the ingredients ready and all I have to do is knead some flour. Let Rudra have his dinner here Anaya." Dheer stopped them and went back to the kitchen and began taking some more flour.
"See he does not mind. So, stop feeling embarrassed and let me have a pizza too. You know that I love pizza" Rudra said freeing his hand from Anaya's grasp.
"I know that you love them, but we cannot crash his place like this" Anaya was still hesitant.
"Stop being hesitant. It's the least he could do for all he has done to you and besides, I still want to know him more to decide if we need to beat him up or not" he said, winking at Anaya.
"Rudy!!!" she glared at her best friend.
"Just kidding" Rudra said in defence.
"Just then as if remembering something, Anaya's eye twinkled and she said, by the way you must watch Dheer making this pizza. He is so funny when he tries to knead a dough" muttered Anaya. Then she quickly reiterated their entire process of making pizza that evening and by the end of it she was once again giggling remembering Dheer's face at that time.
Rudra smiled seeing Anaya smile. 'This guy is not that bad. At least he could make my ducky smile.'
"What are you guys whispering about?" Dheer asked as he emerged beside them.
"Nothing. I was just telling Rudy that I am going back to our apartment as I am dead tired and want to sleep now." Anaya quickly replied as if being caught red handed in doing a crime.
"Go Rudy, help him. I am going now." Anaya winked at him and gave him a mischievous smile. She could not wait for Rudra to go through all that turmoil of making pizza with Dheer. "Bye Dheer" she then turned to Dheer and waved at him before leaving the apartment.
